The Diner (Camden Town)

• I went to The Diner with a friend during a stressful revision spell
• The Diner in Camden did the job with surprising aplomb
• The coffees are subject to a free refill
• My favourite thing about The Diner is that they leave you alone
• Is ironic because my other favourite thing is how nice the staff are
• When you do end up talking to the staff they are lovely beyond belief
• I couldn't tell you The Diner (Camden Town) was American without mentioning they can rustle up a decent burger and chips combo to top all of the other great aspects off
• I popped in here for a quick bite to eat over lunch time between shopping and enjoyed a philly cheese steak It was pretty good
• The place had a bit of charm to it with the American style booths that we've all witness in movies
• Myself and a friend visited here whilst feeling rather hungover after a big night out in Camden and were not disappointed
• The initial thoughts I remember having were looking at the menu and pretty much knowing immediately I would be getting a large helping of food envy regardless of what I ordered
• One quite big concern I had however was the fries on the side
• They were basically just 'chip shop chips' which I was disappointed about
• The service was very friendly and helpful as due to my difficulty deciding I asked for advice between two meals
• The price was a little on the expensive side but I didn't really feel too bad about it as the food was worth it and gave me exactly what I wanted
• As a restaurant with multiple locations
• The guy we had was called Terrance and the first thing he did was get down to the tables level so we didn't have to strain our necks to look up at him as we ordered
• After a couple of minutes Terrance came back and told us that in fact as we were sharing so much food it might be better to just get one order of Corn Dogs as each one came with two
• By the time the food came we were both happy we let him make that decision for us
• The food from order to table took about 10 minutes and it all looked amazing served in diner style baskets with paper which just added to the charm
• I love the fact that at the Diner you can see into the Kitchen so you can almost see them slapping together your meal which is a great addition to your night
• The Corn Dogs were clearly hand breaded and weren't too greasy
• The Mac and Cheese was perfect and had bread crumbs on the top to create and crispy crust
• The hanger fries are to die for healthily topped with Cheese
• The Garlic Butter fries are literally swimming in garlic and butter so if you order them don't except to be kissing anyone
• It creates an atmosphere with David Bowie jamming while you eat
• All together our meal with drinks cost £
• 22.78 and there is a service charge added onto your bill
• Checking on us with out towering over us
• Overall if you love American style diner food with out breaking the bank this is your place
• I will be coming back here a lot with out a doubt
• The Oreo milkshake was perhaps one of the best things I have ever tasted
• I hope the real deal is actually better than The Diner (Camden Town)'s imitation
• The ambiance here is good for a party
• The tables are also were closely packed with each other
• The service was fine and the staff were friendly
• The Diner (Camden Town) is not a great option if you're looking for value for money
• The prices are reasonable
• The burger is served with a lot of side dishes to choose from
• A place which lures with free coffee top ups and the milkshakes otherwise offers terrible Breakfast
• Rubbery eggs are contrary to expectations
• The owner has done inadequate research and is a disappointment in their Novel's Selection
• Our party of five was made to wait a long
• There were fundamental problems with every dish we ordered
• We were served with two whites and only yolk
• That itself was rubbery hard and cold
• The time taken by them to serve the food is usually quite long
• The quality of it is very good and is worth the wait
• Their pancakes are really good but O don't like the breakfast in general
• The atmosphere is relaxed though the interiors are pretty basic
• The experience was highly unimpressive
• We walked in an almost empty place but despite that our order was delivered after a great delay
• Even the table next to us were served before us
• Even more frustrating was that our order was served wrong
• The quality was highly disappointing with diluted maple syrup
• The previous comments about the service are not justified
• The environment is just a bit laid back
• The Diner (Camden Town) is not to take your kids along because neither the management will appreciate their presence nor the kids are going to be happy
• The service in fact according to me was very poor and when I discussed it with the manager she did not looked bothered at all
• Not because of the the inefficiency of the waiters but due to the management who always staff far less people then what is needed on a single shift
• The quality of food was pretty average
• The service was really pathetic
• I would recommend you guys to visit some other restaurant if you r are looking for something quick
• I was lucky enough to get a chance to visit it last weekend and I was happy that it lived up to its hype
• The servers were always more than happy to help
• There is a huge variety that is being offered and you would not mind paying the price that you do
• One could deal with the non authenticity

• The complaint was with the blueberries on my pancakes
• The fries on the other hand were delicious and the best I have sampled anywhere

• The food here is a bit average not very satisfying
• The taste in my opinion was that of processed food and nothing exciting in the least
• The troubling bit was also the time take for the food to arrive
• Because according to me this is the only place which will provide you with authentic dishes and the presentation is also pretty good
• The thing which made me disappointed was the service was very slow and these guys are not at all organized and The Diner (Camden Town) is a little over priced according to me
• The fruit juices that I tried were really refreshing
• The staff was pretty helpful but when it comes to the food it was just normal
• The Diner (Camden Town) is a typical all day american breakfast diner
• The Diner (Camden Town) is great for that
• The food her is very American
• I wasn't particularly overjoyed with the dinner I had here
• The service here is pretty slow
• This interiors in The Diner (Camden Town) is done with traditional booths in red and black color
• The disappointing aspect is that the service as well as the food don't match up to the decor
• The service was extremely slow and uncooperative
• I tried the meat loaf sandwich which was just about average
• The interiors were in line with what The Diner (Camden Town) serves
• They were vibrant and lively as there were personal booths
• Staff as well is friendly and prompt in getting your orders to your table
• My order consisted of hot dogs and chips with extra mayonnaise and waffle with ice cream
• The waffles and chilli are always a good bet
• The staff was pretty friendly and the service was also a standard one
• The food here is average enough to make it survive as a 'visit once' place
• I was disappointed with the average tasting omelette a=with ham and the milkshake they had given with it
• The staff there was quite efficient and prompt with a personal touch
• The building is excellent and the roof terrace is comfortable
• They need to try harder for The Diner (Camden Town) to be an enjoyable experience as there are many other places offering good food and good service
• The food here was good and I was satisfied with it
• My complaint was only with the free wifi not working
• The Diner (Camden Town) is added to my list of favourites
• The portions are huge and very filling
• The food is cooked beautifully plus the staff are friendly so that's a bonus
• My advice for these is don't order them just for you
• The portion size is so big they're basically a meal by themselves

• I've been to quite a few of The Diner restaurants but this one is my favourite as it's very spacious and has an upper floor that is kind of like a roof terrace
• One of my colleagues picked The Diner (Camden Town) for her leaving lunch as it is not far from our office
• We were given the biggest seating area upstairs and were able to pre order our food the day before to help speed up the arrival of our food
• My chicken burger and my friend's blue cheese burger were both tasty but were tricky to eat from the baskets provided too juicy for hands
• I was told to check The Diner (Camden Town) out while I was in Camden and it blew me away
• The smell of hot buttermilk pancakes early in the morning is the stuff you secretly wish
• The breakfast burrito and the arch burger were one of my favourites
• Burger was supposed to be rare but it was medium to well done and very dry indeed
• Sweet potato fries were cold when served
• As the serving is so big neither of us got close to finishing them
• Can fried chicken on a waffle with maple syrup/bacon dressing and a side of onion rings sound any more greasy/delicious
• Their flavours are so punchy and unique
• I can't believe these words are coming from my mouth I almost wished they'd reduced the portion size
• We left feeling so full that the lasting impression was being overfed
• I had the taco salad with chicken and my partner had the buttermilk fried chicken
• The taco salad was delicious and much too big for me to finish
• I especially liked how there was a dollop of guacamole under the shell if you decided to eat the shell after the salad and wanted something to dip it in
• My partner chose mashed potatoes and the bacon gravy was phenomenal
• The service was fantastic too and altogether it was a great experience
• Yet the food is hearty and well cooked
• The portion was too large for me
• No menus on the tables outside im not sure if this is too lure u inside
• The staff sat us down straight away and were friendly through out the service
• The food here was really nice and i would come here again
• The food check back was good also to make sure we were happy with out orders
• The restaurant was clean and has a cosy atmosphere
• The chicken was hot and you just know it's just been fried
• I'm not sure if that's how it is supposed to be but I just finished it all so my £
• The chips that came with it was nicely done
• I didn't bother with the slaw since I don't like vegetables
• 18+ but there was a service charge of £
