• Here you will find a traditional open bar with five brilliantly sourced ales and a strong ten more fixed selection plus many bottles
• Upmarket pub is a delight to dine at
• The bar menu allows drinkers to enjoy a casual scotch egg or bowl of potato wedges with their connoisseur's beer whilst watching sport on the bar TVs
• The dining room upstairs is nicely furnished with home style dinig tables and chairs which lend a pleasing haphazardness to the experience
• The food itself is excellent and only just identifiable as 'pub food'
• The best local in the Shad Thames area the ground floor is the warm and welcoming pub area
• They serve a pub food menu in here which is actually fantastic pumpkin ravioli and welsh rarebit anyone
• The first floor is the acting 'restaurant' with an even better
• The Dean Swift (Bermondsey) is a winner all round
• Yorkshire pudding was perfectly made and the gravy was flavoursome though they could have given a little bit more of it
• I went there and my friend had already got one so we were all set for a long night
• It's located in a discrete corner with a good decor
• The pork itself was excellent &ndash
• They had great texture and were pretty impressive size wise
• The whole dish could have done with a bit more gravy
