Particularly in summer as the doors are open and you get a nice breeze into the restaurant feels like the 'good life' a European gettaway in London
-
I had the lunch menu once which was great value too around £
-
I'd say the menu is quite small and not very veggie friendly
-
) couples and families who are comfortable with each other
-
Our waiter was charming and extremely concerned with how much we enjoyed our meal
-
To the point I was worried he might break out into a cold sweat
-
We skipped appetisers and went straight for chicken Milanese with a well dressed rocket salad
-
Some absolutely beautiful venison with a perfectly pink middle and served alongside creamy pesto mash divine
-
The side of broccoli was pretty average
-
We didn't look at the dessert menu but this is a great restaurant with a sense of grandeur that would be a highly suitable date location
-
In particular the breaded veal is a real favourite of mine as is the fantastically cooked sea bass
-
The side dishes are also special
-
Are prepared in the best possible fashion
-
Daphne's represents something that is increasingly disappearing in London
-
During my four day trip to London my first restaurant visit was to &ldquo
-
We had booked a table in advance knowing that going there without a reservation was out of the question
-
With its soft caramel coloured diffused lighting and chic ambiance it is one of the haunts of many celebrities
-
The highlight feature of Daphne's (South Kensington) is naturally the dishes it serves
-
All the dishes are top class quality
-
My humble recommendation is to order one of the sea food appetizers
-
Especially the Ravioli with crayfish and courgette is well known
-
The wines are selected to go with the dishes served
-
The prices are reasonable compared to the dishes
-
Is a restaurant with a unique romantic atmosphere where you can be sure to
-
S enchanting ambiance is almost thrilling
-
Its location is ideal for having lunch after a visit to Royal Albert Hall
-
Now Daphne's is an Italian restaurant that does not disappoint
-
The food my friend and I had was perfectly prepared
-
Caprice Holdings is one of my favourite restaurant groups
-
Le Caprice and The Ivy are favourites of mine
-
I called Sarah and Hilary and we arranged to meet there with the dogs one Thursday lunchtime
-
Dined there on a Sat eve with a group of friends
-
Regular portion is generous so worth ordering a small one if you had a starter
-
The lobster spaghetti is delicious and so are the desserts
