Stopped here for lunch with two friends and found they do a pretty good burger
The Stables pub is in the middle of Danson Park in Bexleyheath
The park is on an old estate with a big country house and lake
I ordered the emmental and bacon beef burger with fries while my friends had a chicken burger and a grilled chicken breast with chorizo and smoked bacon salad
The brioche bun was nicely part toasted and it came with a small pot of tomato and jalapeno relish
The melted cheese was very tasty and thick with a big slab of beef tomato
Despite that were nonetheless not that hot
My friend's chicken burger was fine and the chicken salad was received well and looked great with toasted thick cut
The Stables is in a really nice location
I give them high marks for their beef burger and the cost is reasonable too
