Dans Le Noir (Clerkenwell)

• Eating in the dark is an interesting experience
• Helps you explore all the flavours without actually seeing what is in your plate and in your glass
• The staff are very sweet and patient with all the people knocking things around the place
• Charging people more just because they are in the dark is not pleasant
• Dans Le Noir (Clerkenwell) is truly amazing
• The strangest feeling is sitting across your date and not being able to see them
• Your phones are in a locker and no reflective light sources are allowed
• We didn't know what we were about to eat
• Every dish we were served (by the blind and incredibly skilled waiters) was absolutely heavenly
• After we were done we were told that we ate
• Half the fun is betting with your friends what you ate before you find out what it is
• Dans Le Noir (Clerkenwell) is an odd one
• The food is decent but the cost to dine here is incredibly expensive for what it is
• That is half the fun trying to figure out exactly what you are eating (they tell you at the end)
• Dining in the dark is a little stressful
• Though it does give you the chance to eat with your fingers and lick your plate if you want to
• I'd probably recommend going with a group of friends rather than for a romantic meal for two

• I was still hungry after the experience so had grab my self a take away on the way home as portions were small also there was a overpowering smell in the place not sure what that was all about

• Waving my hand in front of my face like a mad man for the whole meal I was glad no one could see
• Then the waitress sorry Max were you waving to me
• All getting on like a house on fire there is no pre judgement of each other or whether we're suited as friends
• We went for the surprise menu so I wont ruin what was served for you but you are told at the end
• Confident in my taste buds I mentioned to Winnie I was pretty sure I had it all correct
• It is pricey however it is a great way to experience something new
• I would recommend taking someone who is as open to the experience as you may be
• The main was veal and risotto which was okay and the dessert a simple vanilla cheesecake
• The quality of the food was on the whole
• The concept is a simple one
• The waiters are all blind and you don&rsquo
• D got up to to friends and work colleagues and was met with the reply
• Being in pitched black trying to guess what the plates are like in front of you and not to get the food all over your clothes
• Would recommend 2 courses meal as dessert was disappointing
• I was really shocked to find out how wrong I was at guessing what I was eating too
