Caravan Exmouth Market is intimate and has an element of industrialism with its interesting furniture and mugs and units
-
The service was friendly and helpful and gave off a very trendy vibe
-
The coffee itself is the star of Caravan and is well worth a visit
-
There are very little other businesses specialised in breakfast that can compete with what happens when the chef at Caravan makes his ham hock hash
-
The Ham Hock Hash is especially divine
-
It is the perfect combination when associated with a fresh coffee
-
The staff is competent and prices are affordable
-
The baked eggs with vegetable ragout
-
Mint yogurt and sourdough bread is spectacular
-
The orange infused pancakes are also delicious
-
Caravan (Clerkenwell) is laid back and unpretentious
-
The interior is nothing special
-
The kind of industrial chic that is so common especially in east London now
-
This along with a hot chocolate or coffee usually keeps me warm enough
-
Best time to go is in the morning or early afternoon as they serve a great brunch menu
-
Little touch that caravane has is the blankets for when you sit outside
-
Interior atmosphere and space is also very cosy
-
The first time I went it was just because there were a lot of people and the menu looked good
-
Impress your friends with this brunch paradise
-
The best tym is goin on a early afternoon for a good Sunday Brunch
-
The best part about Caravan (Clerkenwell) is that they give u blankets when u r sitting outside
-
The staff is very friendly and the ambiance is gr8 (nothing out of the ordinary
-
The menu is great and the prices are affordable
-
Famous for it's coffee I naturally started the meal with an espresso martini and was not disappointed
-
The place has very much a bar feeling about it and as a setting is perhaps slightly more suited to the evening
-
The menu is exciting to look at with offerings such as French toast with bacon
-
I was disappointed with my smoked salmon and scrambled eggs on toast
-
The one slice of toast which held the dish together was tiny and the scrambled eggs themselves were mediocre so did not make up for the small portion size
-
My friend had the French toast which was a lot more impressive
-
As it came with American style bacon and maple syrup that looked and tasted great with the accompanying guacamole
-
I will definitely return for dinner or drinks as the alcohol menu was extensive and filled with delicious looking cocktails
-
Quality food and drink with a seasonal ethos
-
Coffee roasted in the basement is served along side a menu of fresh seasonal ingredients
-
The food is high quality as is the presentation
-
I have been to the other Caravan near Kings Cross station quite a few times and love it so I was more than happy to try their Clerkenwell version when we were in the area
-
The interior is more English pub
-
We said we wanted to have a coffee and some cakes and were led to a table in the center of the room
-
No one had even offered us the bill yet which is usually the first step in ushering guests out
-
Exmouth Market is a favorite haunt of mine due to the abundance of reasonably priced restaurants offering well prepared cuisine
-
My usual Italian restaurant was operating at full capacity on a weekday evening
-
Arrived shortly and was excellently prepared
-
We were served a taster of yogurt with sumac and sesame
-
The main course we ordered the Dill cured Salmon with horseradish cheese and sourdough crumb
-
The mains were exceptionally good with a blend of new and unusual flavours
-
The only defect I found was that the connective tissue in the duck liver could have been trimmed out before cooking
-
Several portions of bread and butter were ordered to accompany the mains
-
Chocolate Beetroot cake with passionfruit icecream
-
They were both well made with just the right flavours without being overpoweringly sweet
-
I topped this all off with a Cappuccino which was exceptional
-
Bursting with full bodied coffee flavour with not a hint of bitterness
-
So good that I was able to consume it without adding any sugar
-
Due to lack of planning most of the places I wanted to go were fully booked
-
This was not as a last resort but instead as a restaurant I had previously visited and was happy with
-
Because i realise they are what capture the readers attention
-
Who i used to work with many years ago
-
Is someone i have been following on Facebook and Instagram and the quality of his pictures are really inspiring
-
The rest of the meal was all Waitrose for which I thank them
-
The sides of fries and veg were stuffed into the oven and cooked and devoured
-
This is value and is great for students
-
Caravan Exmouth Market is the original branch of the expanding Caravan cafe brand (there&rsquo
-
S another in Kings Cross) and is another of those &ldquo
-
Came here for lunch with a work colleague just by chance
-
I had the seabass red coconut curry (doesn't come with rice) so I was advised to order chips with it to dip in to it (bit random)
-
19 on its own and when it said large plate it was literally a seabass fillet on some chopped up carrot
-
I feel this is really expensive for what it was
-
Has one of the best restaurant
