Captain Kidd (Wapping)

• I opted for the house white wine which was quite nice
• The beer garden is lovely and the pub has a great atmosphere both inside and out
• We wanted a few chips to warm us up but were told we'd have to go up and sit in the restaurant to have them which was a shame as we only wanted a snack with our drinks
• Nestled amongst the wharfs and terraces of Wapping the Captain Kidd's Thameside beer garden was the loveliest place to sit
• Plumped for the white wine on this occasion (though with hindsight it was a bit nippy &
• We should have probably been on the brandy) and it was a very drinkable
• Unfortunately we were too late for anything from the kitchen so I can't pass comment there
• The draw of the location and the array of drinks is bound to lead us back there in the next few weeks
