Bukowski (Shoreditch)

• A burger joint with minimal rustic furnishing that sits well with the whole stripped down (though hip) mall atmosphere
• Beef patty topped with smoked mozzarella
• Lettuce and tomato served with a toasted brioche bun
• If you are looking for an amazing burger I would definitely recommend Bukowski as in my opinion it is Burger Heaven
• Located in Box Park there is limited seating inside but on either side of the complex there are outdoor benches where you can enjoy your food if the weather is nice
• If you like your burger with a bit of a kick then definitely try this one and make sure you order a drink alongside it
• As always with a burger I ordered a portion of chips and it was all served quickly and the food was piping hot
• Bukowski Grill is one of those places that's been around for ages
• This burger is supposed to make a statement and it certainly looks the part with its glistening full brioche bun and melting curtain of cheese across the patty
• Let's start with the good the Monterey Jack cheese is generous and melted
• All the rest is a slightly sadder story
• Sliced tomato and mayo are insipid and flavourless adding nothing to the burger
• Streaky bacon a masterclass in what not to do with bacon in a burger
• The burgers are cooked in a Josper oven which gives them an consistent
• The full brioche bun at Bukowski Grill is disappointing
• Secondly along with the creamy Jack cheese
• Altogether this burger is a bit of a let down as it lacks any decent flavour
• While boxpark is (and some of you will no doubt disagree) a pretty fun space
• Bukoswki Grill is instantly forgettable
• As the quality was good I think the prices are reasonable
• If you want a real beast of a burger with some mouth watering chips
• Then Bukowski is the place to go
• I ordered 'The Fat Gringo' and it was towering and delicious
• The home made condiments are also the perfect accompaniment to your meal
• The food and service are both so charming that I will definitely be going back
• 'The Vegetarian' burger was a real treat to have after work
• It's right next door to Shoreditch High Street station with lovely staff and even the unique wooden cutlery is cute
• Bukowski Grill is found in Shoreditch and Brixton offering up charcoal grilled burgers
• Where all the eateries and stalls are in shipping containers
• We actually chose to eat here because the smell coming from the kitchen was just alluring
• Tbh is a good thing because it means what they produce should be made really well with little faults
• Because I only eat free range chicken I went with the chicken burger
• The service was efficient and quick
• We ordered well done cheese burgers with jalapeñ
• The burger came oozing with red liquid
• They use a charcoal grill which is rare in burger places
• In fact they were a bit burned
• The bun was nice even though I think brioche buns are overused at burger joints
• Melded really well with the meat and cheese (which was melted really well onto the patty)
