Blue Lagoon (Kensington)

• Since we were stuck for time (due to the cinema's) we informed the manager who made sure our food was a priority due to our situation
• The manager was nice and the food was prompt and exquisite
• Lovely quiet and cosy place with very soothing background music and flowing water
• The main course we had pad Thai and green beef curry which were both excellent
• Blue Lagoon is a fine Thai restaurant that serves a luxurious range of oriental fresh food
• The platter is the perfect starter to warm up the palette
• I am usually spoilt for choice with the options of fresh chicken
• It is served with a mixture of Thai herbs and spices
• Finished off with a touch of delicious coconut milk
• Blue Lagoon is one of the few authentic Thai restaurants in London
• When we arrived we were seated and handed the menus
• The guy who handed us the menus was really friendly and so funny
• The starters were prawns on toast
• Chicken satay with peanut butter sauce
• We then ordered our main course which was the pad thai
• A chocolate molten type brownie cake ( I forgot what it was called) and it was delicious
• Our total bill was like 25 each
• Four beers and desert which is reasonable but the only thing I didn't like was that they had a service charge on the bill which came up to like almost 6 7 pounds
