Battersea Pie Station (Covent Garden)

• Apparently they have branches elsewhere as well but it's my first experience with the battersea pie station and I wasn't disappointed
• This is the best pie I've ever had and my favourite place to eat in London
• S Stables Market is Battersea Pie
• The market appears to be overrun with some rather mediocre looking eateries
• Chicken and mushroom with mash and gravy for me and Steak and kidney for him

• The staff was really very friendly and they were efficient too
• Their menu is vast and you have a lot to choose from
• The portions are big and they are going to be pretty much filling

• The music is a little rude and best ignored but otherwise
• The quality of food was very good and I feel having my meal here was a good value for money
• The service though was kind of a hit and miss and was lacking on a few occasions but I think the meal was worth the wait
• The menu is quite an extensive one and this restaurant is quite large with ample seating space
• We had chicken and mushroom pies which were quite delicious but on a rather expensive side

• The only problem is the absence of a washroom even when drinks are available here
• Everything is just perfect and would love to visit here again

• After seeing some reviews I decided this was the place to try
• I'm not so brave I would adventure in a kidney pie which I think is more traditional so I went for the zomato recommendation and asked for a chicken and mushroom pie
• I gotta say however in terms of food I was a bit disappointed
• Didn't look very fresh and the filling although it was very tasty it lacked seasoning
• Seating area is minimal but the it is so welcoming and the interior with marble worktops
• I had The Whinstone pie (highly recommended) with creamy mash (also highly recommended) baked beans ( another H
• R) and you get free red wine with herbs gravy
• The steak and kidney in my pie was so delicious
• Price wise for me it is not an issue at all about £
• It is really easy to miss it as everything else around is so buzzy and colourful and loud
• The portion size is perfect and the mash smooth and creamy
• Recommend going to a more traditional location although you may need to go further afield as Manze Islington is closing late 2017
• After having few bad experiences i was so naive to try more pie places in London
• Selection of Pies are Vast you can either Choose them on their own or with Mash and Gravy
