Balham Bowls Club (Balham)

• It's a very roomy venue literally with lots of different rooms and space
• I had the pan fried grey mullet with celeriac Risotto this time
• The dish as a whole was very filling
• Hers was a larger fish with just the right amount of chorizo and again she really liked it and was looking forward to having it again another time
• The waiter was really efficient
• I couldn't resist the chocolate brownie with salted caramel ice cream and raspberry coulis
• The brownie was hot and contrasted perfectly with the ice cream and coulis
• Go upstairs for old man sports and social club vibe with young clapham / balhamite yuppie clientele
• The BBC is a huge place with several bars and a restaurant
• Tried the Sunday roast today and it was solid and dependable
