The Anglers (Teddington)

• The garden is the only reason to go in the summer
• One of London best river side pubs
• I wouldn't go as far as to say that my pocket full of dog biscuits seemed more appealing as the food was well presented
• Went once at the height of summer and the place was packed to the rafters
• Food was slow and my cod was undercooked which was a pity
• The kids play area is what drew us to the spot and the pub is actually lovely inside with a leather lounge with library and a spacious bar
• Chips were in a bowl and fish was perfectly cooked and the batter was thin and crispy
• Barman did forget to ring up one of our food orders but our 4 year old loved the long sausages on a mountain of mash potato I ate his gravy with my chips and it was lovely
