Abshar restaurant (Croydon)

• If you live around Croydon and are looking for a place to hold a meal for an occasion
• I would recommend the platter if you are going in a group as the portion sizes are big and enough to fill everyone
• During my last visit there were 8 of us sharing 2 platters with the bill coming up to just £
• The platters come with a range of different meats
• The decor is nothing to write home about but the meats are well marinated and full of flavour
• My favourite item on the menu is the homous with pita bread
• The restaurant was busy and there was nothing to deaden the sound in the annexe including a very loud sound system in the ceiling just above our table
• Presentation and quality was not up to standard
• The manager by the name of Hosein was rude and had a horrible customer service
