Abbey Bar (Aldgate)

• As that area is sort of secluded and does not get cramped as the other areas
• The floor downstairs gets packed and gets seriously alive after people have binged up on the happy hour drinks a place not to be missed if you are looking to find a date
• It quickly buzzes with young professionals and it has a great atmosphere
• My only complaint is that when I poured myself a glass from the cocktail pitcher
• The drinks were literally on me
• The waiter was apologetic but nothing else was done in terms of remedying the situation
• After the mess was cleaned up
• Abbey is the perfect place for people looking to spend a relaxed and very fresh evening with colleagues/ friends
• The overall meal was a good experience
• The very positive point was having the very delicious Cheesecake as a desert
• I truly have to say that the cheesecake exceeded my expectations and Ii has truly been one of the best cheesecake I've had in a long time
• This is the perfect place to grab a pint with colleagues and friends after a long day at work
• You are directly welcome with smiles from the restaurant's personnel
• Whilst the bar area was running smoothly
• Full to the brim with yuppies indulging in expensive after work drinks (a bottle of Prosecco will set you back nearly £
• If you could call it that was left crumbling in the corner
• The sheer amount of space covered by the Abbey meant as well that the whole place was sorely understaffed which meant that service was slow
• The whole thing was unfortunately a shambles
• When it eventually did arrive was rich and tasty
