The Grill On The Corner (City Centre)

• Think black and glossy with candles and chandeliers
• A Sunday roast is probably my favourite meal &ndash
• It reminds me of when I was a child at home with the fire roaring
• There was a big photo with thick slices of pink beef
• The restaurant has lots of fairy lights down the windows and is modern inside but not pretentious
• I had booked a table and we arrived a little early to get out of the downpour but we were quickly shown to our seats
• Since Grill On The Corner are beef experts
• Your meat of choice is served with roast potatoes
• My only negative is that there is too much on the plate &ndash
• I would rather the veg is served in another dish so there is more space for cutting
• They serve it with a creamy vanilla ice cream and it was a classic comfort food dish
• She thought that it was a bit tart for her taste but nice nevertheless
• The service in here is friendly and efficient
• I always think its a pointless exercise because any server with half a brain isn&rsquo
• T going to take it over to a disgruntled customer so it is not a true representation
• In my eyes a simple comment card on the table is acceptable but this new &lsquo
• The guy that served us was very sweet
• I know from experience that the cocktails are scrummy and they do a rich bottle of Malbec that is calling me back
• I went here in August and the staff were very nice and helpful
• I have been here several times and have always left with a happy stomach
• The interior design is great and always a good vibrant atmosphere there
• One dish l always recommend is the sticky beef salad as a starter or a main
• Its great to have a private dinner for two or have a good catch up with a group of friends
• The temperature of the restaurant is always spot on and the music level is just right
• I would recommend this restaurant to others and its at a good location which is easy to park the car if driving
• The starter platter to share was a great combo
• Especially the fishcakes with the sweet chilli dip
• I had steak for my main course and it was cooked to perfection
• I expected a delicious mix of potato and black pudding but in fact this meant regular mash with a tiny sprinkle of black pudding crumbs on the top
• Even the waitress looked confused about what it was she was serving me
• We ended up having to deal with a very cheeky and unhelpful manager who actually ended up walking away from us shaking her head
• The whole thing was extremely unprofessional
• It's a shame the service was so bad this night as the first experience had went so well
• The place was packed and there was a 30 minute wait for a table but definitely worth it
• I order the potted mackeral and a steak with blind scouse and chips

• First time visitor with friends and what a fabulous time we had in this beautiful restaurant
• The jewel in this restaurants crown was the lovely welcoming and fabulous Claire who was so fabulous thank you ❤️
