Tonic (New Town)

• I went for a raspberry kiss cocktail (because Prosecco is rarely a bad idea) and it was absolutely delicious
• Price range is a tad expensive I'm new to this city so I don't have much to compare it with
• Let's say that my cocktail alone was over £
• We were sat near both toilets where we were greated with the stench of bleach crossed with urine any time the male door opened
• 10 minutes later the cocktail arrived with a pint of Tennants
• Not what we'd asked for but J was ok with that
• The cocktail itself was well made and you can tell a lot of work went into making it
• The wait staff were pleasant and clearly well trained in mixology
• I had heard great things about it but I found that although the staff was quite knowledgeable the place lacked charm and drinks were not that good
• With the seasons or when a specific alcohol is becoming popular
• We also know that we need a good balance of flavours with no one flavour overpowering another but we also need the ingredients to be elevated and taken to the next level
