Three Coins (Tollcross)

• A no thrills and no expense spared takeaway in Tollcross with at least one Scottish Premiership footballer a regular visitor for the vegetarian pizza I have been told
• The man that works there is on his own and he can sometimes get a bit grumpy
• The doner calzone and the chicken pakora are the two recommendations from me for this takeaway
• The pizzas are a nice choice too
• Especially with a few bars and the Lava/Ignite nightclub being placed nearby
• Half the battle of writing reviews is striking the balance between checking in your expectations at the door while still applying what you&rsquo
• Getting the balance wrong can go one of two ways with the vastly preferable one being when you stumble upon a place that you had pegged as routine and it turns out to be remarkable
• This was the case with a recent visit to Three Coins
• Very easy to miss but once inside you are in for a treat
• The service is superb with friendly chatter and the food is served fresh from order and made very fast
• The pizzas are amazing with a thin crisp base and the ingredients are fresh and tasty
• I recommend the Meat Feast which is out of this world
• Three Coins (Tollcross) is raved about on Trip Advisor although it doesn't seem too popular here
• Sizes and price is reasonable and because of Trip Advisor I had high hopes for the pizza and it did meet those hopes
