The Printing Press (New Town)

• It seems that the restaurant was going for a soft launch
• Obviously this discount was being offered to give the place a chance to iron out any kinks in delivery of food and service so this review is writing with that in mind
• The cleverly designed use of space makes it feel larger than it was and the lighting and furnishings are so warm

• All washed down with a lovely Carmenere
• It was the best meal I'd had out in ages and I can't wait to return

• The service was excellent when I visited from the hostess to the servers every member of staff I encountered was friendly and accommodating

• I was gutted to have missed the Printing Press launch event a couple months ago so was really pleased to finally check it out

• I was surprised by how flavoursome the mine and tattoos were absolutely divine and not what you'd expect with a bog standard version of mince/tatties

• No doubt this works well on weekends with large groups

• We started of with two Brambles and then slowly worked our way through the menu
• Lemon juice and Creme du Mure served over crushed ice with a slice of lemon and a hint of blackberries
• A great fine dining experience though the portions were a little small but we enjoyed it to the very last spoon
