Noodle 'n' Ice (Old Town)

• Noodle 'n' Ice opened up in August or so and looked like a modern Asian fusion and Thai influenced place with reasonable prices
• They have long communal tables and are a bit like Wagamama
• I had the Tom Kha traditional Thai soup with coconut soup which sounded lovely
• The chicken and mushrooms were ok but there were little green shoots that were fibrous and didn't seem edible or at least digestible
• It's more of a lunch type of place anyway and was really quiet at dinnertime
• So I thought it was high time I got in on the action
• Ordered a pad Thai and the noodles were a little bit sticky
• The service was very slow also
• Food I ordered was too sweet even though I've asked for no sugar add in
• Roasted Chicken that came with salad was completely burnt and dry
• The decor was simple with table rows and benches
• The up stair dining area was decent too
• The taste of Pad Thai is a bit different from the original Thai Cuisine
• Both of them are delicious (I'm from Asian and the taste totally suits me)
• The food here is actually fine
• The waiters were actually friendly the place is quite small but the ambience was good
