York's Bakery Cafe (Colmore Business District)

• Plus huge piles of fresh cakes and baked goods which are made on site
• Weekend (hungover) breakfasts are also very good
• ) and weekday b'fast/lunch buffet style bars are a great twist on the traditional deli
• In Newhall Street and very easy to find as it is on the corner of the street
• As it was early there were a few customers visiting for take out and a couple staying in
• The furniture and decor is very &lsquo
• We also decided to sample the honey cake with blueberries
• We both had lattes with our breakfast and I think this is the nicest I have tried in a long time
• S hope this is the level of service that can still be expected from the team now that the cafe is in full swing
• The service was very friendly and helpful
• Tried their shakshuka and scrambled eggs with salmon and they were rly good
• Only problem was that they took around an hour to get the food ready
• I ordered the vegetarian mezz dish and it was a little dry and underwhelming
• A quick coffee to wake you up with coffee roasted onsite
• A single shot of coffee with two thirds milk
• An independent coffeehouse situated in the heart of Birmingham with a stripped back interior great for on the go or for watching the world go by
• The unique thing about this coffeehouse is that it has an onsite roaster
• Their passion to attention to detail is shown through their coffee with the delicate flavours balancing out and providing a sublime taste
