Istanbul Restaurant (Handsworth)

• The food was delicious and the portions were huge we couldn't finish it all
• Only drawback is the location but for the price and value you get you really can't complain
• Dinner comes with the most amazing complementary salad and some scrummy bread
• Rice pilavs are excellent too
• To summarise it is a good place to sample Turkish food
• The meatball starter was out of this world
• The Istanbul mixed grill is the meal to order coming with a generous selection of grilled meats and great tasting donner meat
• The unsung heroes of the meals are always the well prepared salad and the great dips the homemade chilli sauce and garlic dip really go well with the grilled meat
• Every time they have been astounded with the quality of the food and enjoyed the experience
• The restaurant itself is fairly small (with seats being filled very fast) but they are always very accommodating
• The regular staff there are always very quick and helpful
• This is a place that I will always be happy to go too and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for an authentic Turkish meal
• Friendly and accommodating staff with generous and tasty food
