Akbars (Coventry)

• Walking distance from City Centre is another plus point
• We arrived a little early so we were asked to take a seat in the waiting area and bar so we could have a drink while our table was being prepared
• They could really do with a more inviting entrance and decor for the waiting area
• I would say is just about average
• The paneer tikka starter was delicious but the channa sabzi was basic and a little too sour
• The cucumber and onion raita was simply plain yoghurt with pieces of cucumber and onion piled onto it
• Service though was excellent and we were very well taken care of
