Malikas (Oxford)

• I went here with a couple on a Sunday Sundays are went many restaurants in Oxford do buffets
• The inside of the restaurant is divine and gorgeous
• The waiter we had was friendly and professional
• He was friendly and went further miles such as getting a bigger plate when he saw the one I was using might be a bit small
• Bread was also freshly baked and all that needed to be done was to request some naan bread (though it was more like a roti)
• Starters there were papadums which came with a vareity of sauces and salad
• Other starters were vegetable pakoras and chicken tikka
• The vegetable pakoras were okay they were a selection of fried vegetables
• They went especially well with the sauces
• The chicken tikka was cooked really well
• Combined with well cooked onions and were infused with a good Marsala mix
• The curries were a lamb korai (lamb with capsicum
• All of them were really tasty and stood on their own by not being akin to any other in that selection
• I had a sweet lassi to try which was very tasty
• There was a chocolate mousse cake with a selection of fruits around it
• Exceptionally friendly and with food par excellence I would love to revisit Malikas
• Inhad some indian breads and curry and they were good and kind of similar taste as one can get in India
• Indian cuisine is loved so much in UK and Malika's has found that blend for the UK and Indian audiences
