Frankie & Benny's (Reading)

• I've heard so much about Frankie & Benny's (Reading) and was slightly disappointed after going here as a first timer
• Seemed to be in a hurry when taking the order (and the restaurant was not as packed as other places I have eaten at)
• The wrong type of potato dippers were given to us
• The caesar salad was strictly okay
• The garlic mushrooms were slightly better
• It did not match up one bit to what was described in the menu the chicken was not flavorful
• Came in a tall glass with layers of ice cream
• Presenting myself with my son at 7.30 pm for dinner I was told they were overbooked until 9.30 pm
• T help but wonder if it was about racial profiling and just keeping a couple of Indian faces out of the local white crowd
• I felt a part of my favourite country ie Italy was wiped off my existence
• It was topped by a cheesecake which was more of a mud pie
• I have lived in the UK in the worst era for the outsiders and see the blatant racism was taken over by a subdued and grumbling one
• Chinese and Indian are the three bright stars of international cuisine
• The latter two are holding away as English can&rsquo
