Sakana Pan Asian (Spinningfields)

• A quick glance at the menu and we were desperate to try it
• I have spent the large part of 2014 complaining about how it was hard to find places that served great sushi and sashimi dishes in Manchester
• I was excited to see whether Sakana was on par with some of the greats down south i
• Probably one of the best place in Manchester for vegetarians looking for good Thai or Japanese food
• The curry here is more authentic than other places in Manchester"
• The service was exceptional and the restaurant is beautiful on the inside
• Loved the dining spaces one more casual and intimate bar area coupled with a spacious dining room that centres around a birds eye view of the kitchen
• Started off with a surprisingly spicy portion of edamame beans that were soon followed by salmon and avocado futomaki
• Had expected the futomaki to be bigger but the salmon was wonderfully meaty so I can't really complain
• The 3 skewers were so well flavored and had that grilled (but not burnt) taste
• The accompanying terriayki sauce was delightfully sweet and sticky
• This restaurant was decorated beautifully and the food was exceptional and well presented
• The staff very professional only downside is that it took a while to come bearing there was not a lot of people there
• I like the friendly people here and I already said that the food is very delicious
