The Metropolitan (Didsbury)

• This pub is quite large so has several good seating areas indoors but the best bit is the amount of space they have to sit outside in the summer
• They also have an outdoor bar (this is only open in peak times though) which is great for an evening summer time drink
• I've had Sunday lunch here which was good and I've also made good use of their pizza oven which was delicious
• The only downsides are that some drinks are slightly on the expensive side and service can be a little slow sometimes but this never stops me coming back because everything else is great
• The toilets are also nice and clean which I think reflects quite well on the place as a whole
• A very nice meal with friends on a Friday evening
• The place was quite busy but the service and the staff where very good and helpful with a few suggestions on lovely desserts
