Albert's Shed (Castlefield)

• I ordered the chocolate orange tiramisu which I have tasted a lot nicer if I am being honest and my partner had the banoffe Sunday he also wasn't that impressed they were also over priced at £
• Malayan chicken It was all very good
• The a la carte dish with wasabi pea puree certainly had a kick
• In fact it was so powerful it totally unblocked my nose
• King scallops in a thermidor sauce and buttered samphire was off the specials list
• The delicious roasted rump of lamb was quickly demolished by my dining partner whereas I ordered seared tuna
• The dauphinoise potatoes were creamy and yummy but again over seasoned
• The rest of the dish however felt like it was my salt intake for the week
• Long wait for food and drinks with no apology and then told to vacate the table for the next party
• We had two courses and a selection of side and homemade breads all were a delight piping hot and delicious
• I had a garlic mushroom pizza which was absolutely cooked to perfection and was so fresh and flavorful
• We arrived and the restaurant was fully booked but one of the hosts at the door
• The food was great and the service was excellent from the bar to the restaurant
