24 Bar & Grill - Princess Street Hotel (Deansgate)

• I made a visit for dinner around 8ish on a Friday evening with my boyfriend
• To my surprise the restaurant was very quiet and only had a few tables in but you can't judge the food by that
• The quails egg gave it a extra texture and flavour and worked well with the salmon
• I wasn't a big fan of the hot toddy puree as it was too sweet and thick but overall it was presented well
• It was a very light dish but was very satisfying with all the flavours
• We realised it was missing the prawns and croutons
• * 10oz Ribeye Steak (282g) served with triple cooked beef dripping chips
• I was looking forward to this so much and boy the cut of steak was so soft and succulent
• Was easy to cut and it was not chewy at all
• I was expecting the best chips in the world when I read it was 'triple cooked in beef dripping' (dribbles) but nope they were just your standard chunky chip
• The highlight was definitely the sausage
• Grill serves honest tasty food where there is something for everyone
• This little chain is definitely worth a visit if you are ever down in Manchester and want to get away from all the fuss and noisy atmospheres most restaurants have
• Ate here last night with friends after reading good reviews about the place
• A restaurant on a Saturday night there were only 2 other tables dining
• We all ordered steaks which were of good quality with different sauces and side orders of Mac n Cheese and twice cooked fries
• We also had some tasty bread and olives with Parmesan crisps
• Then a two course meal with a glass of wine each
• Everything was beautifully cooked and well presented
