  • The Northern Quarter of Manchester is the upcoming neighbourhood

  • Teacup on Thomas St is the answer

  • I was there 10mins before the restaurant open and there was already people waiting

  • As they said that the bread is made in house I just have to try&hellip

  • Plus the toast was just right

  • Light breakfast was not our option so we ordered eggs royale

  • Poached eggs on top of muffins but in this case their sourdough toast which was really delicious

  • T too thick which is perfect for me&hellip

  • The only downside for them was the eggs was abit overcooked

  • Even thou the eggs was overcooked however the taste was there and the atmosphere was wonderful

  • Went there with a friend of mine after he sold it to me as the place that has the best Red Velvet cake in town

  • Pretty standard to be honest and I would have had them with a different softer bread

  • That he has had it before and it tasted differently so I hope that it was just the case of a weird one

  • Especially the tea timer I probably played with it during the entire meal

  • I had a fish finger sandwich which didn't taste of a whole lot and was expensive considering what it was

  • There are too many delicious looking cakes to choose from and the choices of beverages were vast as well

  • The coffee at Teacup is quite strong and I had to add sugar which I usually don&rsquo

  • One of the best places we perhaps visited and didn't expect it to be so close to our accommodation in the Northern Quarter of Manchester

  • Teacup Kitchen is located in Thomas St

  • Where there are a huge number of other restaurants

  • The ambiance and decor is very lively and goes well against the 'sad' figure of tea in the modern world

  • Upon entering Teacup Kitchen anyone is bound to be surprised to see that its perennially bustling with a good crowd cutting through their cakes and sipping on their teas

  • We visited Teacup (Northern Quarter) two times in two days we were here in Manchester to make sure that we soaked in every bit of this wonderful tea cafe

  • This is done to ensure that the tea is bewed to the exact mm of flavor

  • The resulting tea is SPECTACULAR to say the least

  • Really yum cake drizzled with caramel sauce that went very well with this gorgeous looking cake

  • It looks beyond reality and the layers of colors are truly tempting and raise curiosity

  • A gorgeous looking red velvet that shines on your plate and is equally yum tasting

  • Kudos to the staff and chef who run this eatery with a lot of love

  • This is one of the best places in Manchester for breakfast or brunch

  • Their smoothies are also out of this world

  • One of the best places in Manchester for brunch

  • Their Royale Northern is brilliant and oh the scones are real game changer

  • The breakfast is delicious poached eggs are done perfectly

  • They even help you make the perfect cuppa with quirky little timers

  • Ordered the poached eggs with mushrooms and avocado on sourdough toast

  • Washed down with a flat white (which wasn't on their menu but they were happy to make)

  • Lovely place with great service but the food was a little bit on the bland side

  • Saying that the mushrooms used were of the mixed variety rather than your bog standard closed cup ones

  • We also went for the toffee apple cake which was amazing extremely tasty and full of juicy chunks of Apple

  • Served warm with clotted cream and jam we really enjoyed our visit and can't wait to return

  • Restaurant and bar that is fitted out in plush furnishings and sultry colours (think blacks

  • Especially as the restaurant is located downstairs in the basement

  • The Teacup Kitchen is a super cute cake shop

  • So this is a review that should be taken with a grain of salt

  • The Teacup Kitchen located in the Northern Quarter (my favourite quarter) of Manchester is an award winning cafe and restaurant

  • I did find that the initial service at Teacup Kitchen was a bit of a letdown

  • Staff members running around aimlessly whilst customers were ready to be seated

  • I wanted to try the Lancashire Hot Pot with Buttered Greens (£

  • T really know what this dish was and the description provided as a tiny bit ambiguous

  • The Lancashire Hot Pot is a stew containing mutton or lamb with onion

  • Other dining options are also British

  • S definitely worth the money as there are places in the same area that charge a little less but the quality is no where near as good

  • The breakfast platter was yummy and in bug portions and nicely presented on the plate

  • Trust me I tried so many of them but my tummy git full and I was still wanting those cakes

  • The reply came back that they were in the oven and would be another 10 minuets

  • Slightly frustrated that tea was almost drunk but excited to learn the scones would at least be warm

  • 15 mins later chased them up again and they were brought out &hellip

  • Now I know this is not a 3rd world problem but where on earth is the communication
