Went in and sampled a small piece of a sesame covered bread filled with Cheddar cheese and olive
-
The tastes are unbeleivably delicious
-
Simit sandwiches with feta cheese are fantastic
-
Simit is well known Turkish traditional food and I am really proud to see the Simit Sarayı in the heart of London although it is four times expensive compared to its price in İstanbul
-
Especially the one with feta cheese
-
Borek Potatoes is the one I liked a lot
-
Variety of breads is really nicely maintained on the lines of Turkish food
-
I asked what was in one of their bö
-
The gul boreki and toasted cheese sandwich with tomato is nice though
-
I am a fan of all things bread so I was looking forward to the Simit
-
You can enjoy Simit with other dishes but I ate it on its own and loved it just the same
-
The potato Borek was so flavorful and yet so light
-
The pastry itself was like a baked lasagna of sorts
-
It was layers of pasta with a feta cheese filling which had been baked together to give a nice overall crust
-
I am happy with my experience and the prices were not too bad either
-
My favorite is the one with cheese
-
Weird tasting food and I get that it's meant to be exotic and different but the staff couldn't explain most of what was on display
-
The coffee was also pretty mediocre but it was all overpriced so never going back
-
My favourite to date is the wrap with sujuk it's got jalapeñ
-
I've tried the rose borek with feta cheese
-
Right next to Bond Street Tube station this is a recent arrival to the London scene
-
This is one of many outlets opened in the past year or so is of Turkish origin
-
Having just visited Istanbul I was curious to try out the place
-
Tried their sausage roll which was was very ordinary and a bit greasy
-
The location on Oxford St was very popular and for good reason
-
You charge for Turkish tea 1.95 with 1000% margin
-
The pastries are worth a try too on a non calorie conscious day
-
Great strong black tea just the way I love it with a good simit
-
Most of what we had was really wonderful
-
The service was friendly and good
-
Turkish tea is just back tea and Tahini was tasty but it's quite heavy
-
Simit Sarayai was a fair choice
-
He had a tough time keeping up with the orders as shoving sandwiches in the toaster was time consuming
-
Was highly impressed with the display of different food items
-
Service was fast and staff was very humble and customer friendly
-
Strawberry cheesecake and tiramisu cake one of the best i ever had in my life
-
Overall pricing was also quite ok
-
Nice place to go and have a cup of coffee along with some delicious pastries and rolls
-
Simit Sarayi is simple eatery with fresh baked goods
-
The wait staff is very well behaved
-
The plating and serving is quite nice
-
Its buzzing with so much energy that your coffee will add up and keep you energized the whole day
-
Simit Sarayi is originally a Turkish restaurant and it has several branches in London
-
The London branch menu is consistent with the original Turkish restaurant menu
-
The beef roll was super delicious but contains lots of butter and is oily
-
The chicken parmesan sandwich is super delicious as well
-
One downside is that the bread is too hard
-
The prices are not consistent with the currency equivalent of the Turkish currency to pounds
-
Even though the restaurant is self service
-
We recommend Simit Sarayi for a casual quick bite with friends and family
-
T the cleanest even though there is someone cleaning all the time
-
T help but walk inside with their delicious display catching your attention
-
I guess one of the best bakery chains in London
-
Ordered 4 chicken sandwiches that were heated but served cold from the inside
-
The staff moreover were friendly to us
-
While the lady said that the sausage is chicken or pork after eating we realised it was neither
-
Also there was an additional charge of 60p per dish for eating in the restaurant
-
Have recently been to London eye and their outlet there was really good
-
Potato borek and spinach borek was what we had tried and was lip smacking
-
If anyone calculate the price with lira then it is really expensive
-
If you are in England it means you are spending pound and in that condition I can sincerely say
-
Simit Sarayi is a great Turkish Cafe with excellent Simits in various guises my favourite being the pictured simit with white cheese and tomato which makes for a perfect on the go snack
-
This outlet at the Bond Street tube stop on Oxford Street has ample seating space to be able to sit and snack onsite with a good Turkish tea in its characteristic tulip shaped glass
