Pera (Shoreditch)

• All the meats are cooked over a charcoal grill
• I am always happy with lamb shish which is tender and served with rice and salad
• The green beans on the starters menu don't sound very exciting but they are a favorite of mine
• Being sweet and delicately flavored with olive oil and shallots
• I really wish my phone hadn't died so I could back up the following claims with photographic evidence
• I also wish I had the foresight to have some sort of hidden voice recorder on my person as the verbal onslaught was incredible
• It was a bit late and a bit of sustenance was in order so we stumbled into Pera (Shoreditch)
• If a lettuce wrap is more your thing then you would really be in heaven
• Even then you'd be wandering why you are subjected to the blandest varieties of lettuce
• At this point I really had no choice but to demand my money back which was not awarded due to the fact that I had consumed 40% of the lettuce monstrosity
• Have a point in that we are really sh*t
• Suffice to say I will not be following up this review with any other menu items
• I've never been anywhere where they treat customers with this level of disdain and the food is absolutely abysmal
• I got a bit paranoid that is was just me so I scoured the internet for a bit more info
• This also rings a few alarm bells that they are placed in order to raise ratings
• The kebabs and the aubergine dishes are amazingly good and not expensive at all
• House wine is nothing to write home about though
• I lived on that zone some weeks and Pera was best place to eat
• I recommend every you who is in Shoreditch to give it a try
• 5 for 1x lamb sote with rice and tango and one mix mezze and water
