  • She arrived 10 minutes early but the table wasn't ready and they were made to wait in the bar with no seating for my grandmother (as it was already taken)

  • No coats were taken either and they were just left to stand there

  • From then on service was excellent from start to finish as we were assigned the most lovely lady who looked after us all evening

  • The food though was very disappointing with portion sizes being very small so much so that my 12 year old son was hungry by the end

  • The food itself was poor too and not how I remembered it from my previous visit

  • Noticeably they are using a much cheaper olive oil for the bread as the one we had previously you could drink like wine

  • The dessert was especially disappointing being described as a strawberry consome with meringue which was a few cut up strawberries with a horrid syrup and two minuscule meringues

  • My mother did lodge a complaint after but she was treated quite aggressively for complaining and a lot of excuses were given

  • Had the tasting menu which is a real foodie experience

  • Pineapple carpaccio with basil sorbet (yes

  • The carpaccio was cut very finely indeed though the taste came with no surprises &ndash

  • The starter was slightly under salted

  • It was the little side things that came with the biggest satisfaction

  • The olives were simply the best olives I ever tried

  • They final accord was a bowl of tiny biscotti in the end which I am sure would've made a nice addition to espresso

  • It felt as if my expectations were set too high

  • Perhaps this was my first mistake

  • The service was excellent very attentive and friendly (though they did bring me the wrong bill)

  • S quail and beetroot starter was also great

  • My starter of smoked haddock and broad beans was disappointing

  • Second courses were a mixed bag &ndash

  • His risotto was deliciously herby and creamy

  • Being served in the middle of a huge white plate so it looked completely lost (surely one of those plates you see on masterchef with a dip in the middle would have worked better

  • Lovely thin pasta but the sauce lacked depth and was over in two mouthfuls

  • S plaice was delicate but so light and unassuming that he was eyeing my beef with longing

  • Choosing the pannacotta which was honestly awful (no sweetness or vanilla flavour it may as well have been wallpaper paste) and agreeing to the sweet waiter&rsquo

  • Two of them were so strong they were practically inedible with only the brie a like (can&rsquo

  • D booked a deal we had been served sub quality food (perhaps they were trying an intern out in the kitchen

  • ) or b) we would have been as disappointed with the full price menu

  • Well the most expensive dinner i had in london was at Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair)

  • The spaghetti was great but the mains was not too enjoyable

  • Overall a good experience for high end dinner with someone special

  • Perhaps the biggest red mark is Le Gavroche

  • S who stepped out on her own a few years ago and now has her name attached to an enviable collection of restaurants is Angela Hartnett

  • Firstly and perhaps most significantly it's in Mayfair and is therefore Not Cheap

  • These are prices with a significant weight of expectation behind them

  • House breads were all fresh and warm paired with lovely grassy olive oil

  • Ricotta and peas is always going to be a crowd pleaser

  • A pile of impossibly light and fluffy ricotta paired with slow cooked lamb and some of those glossy

  • If you're running a marathon then I'm sure all those carbs are very useful

  • I've never really fallen out of love with this most basic of birds

  • Handled properly it is still an incredibly rewarding beastie

  • Expertly tender breasts with golden crispy skin were arranged amongst earthy morels

  • Is it too much of an unfair generalisation to say that desserts are often a bit of an afterthought in high end Italian restaurants

  • Dishes of Italian influence using the best of British produce in clear and approachable ways

  • They're not to know I preferred my meal on Bellenden Road in Peckham with a bottle of £

  • Everything we ordered was perfect with the correct flavors and the right portions

  • The amalgamation of meat and fruits and vegetables is the genius of the chef and it is a delight to experience

  • The scallops were perfectly cooked and the desserts are a treat for the taste buds

  • The food was full of flavors and it was cooked very nicely too

  • The service was good and the staff was pretty amazing and they were very helpful

  • The food served was clearly tasted much better than others and did not seem to compromise on the high standards of the place

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) never fails to play a perfect symphony with its melodious tunes of a perfect fine dining restaurant experience

  • I ordered a peanut butter crumble with caramelized bananas

  • The food offered here is absolutely delightful

  • The menu was very innovative and prepared with brilliance

  • The only complaint I have with Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) are the very average Chablis which tasted as if brought right off the shelves of a supermarket and was served cold

  • The dishes have an Italian influence and are pared down

  • The dishes come with complimentary sauces

  • The ambiance is formal and the service is great

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) was perfect for dinner

  • Reserved a meal at Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) and glad that it did not disappoint us to select Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) on a finely planned day with my partner

  • There are varied and massive choices as far as menu is concerned and wine recommendations were bang on

  • The service was prompt and efficient

  • The staff was very knowledgeable about each of the dishes and recommended the best of wine and food

  • This Michelin star restaurant is on the more expensive side and I cannot say if it is worth the price it commands

  • The size of the portion was appropriate but the tasting menu sizes did not seem to be so

  • One of our items were forgotten but we were quickly compensated for it

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) is sure going to become one of my favorites

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) was not very great

  • The service however was very disappointing

  • The staff here was great and so very welcoming

  • The food was beautiful presented with so much attention to detail

  • The taste of the food was also par excellence

  • In all it was great with good prices as well

  • What made me come to this conclusion was the below average service

  • The staff training is not being taken care of and that does deteriorate customer satisfaction

  • Waiters are inattentive to customer demands and are busy talking among themselves

  • This was according to me the best place i have ever been too

  • With the amazing food and extraordinary service I had the best time of my life here

  • The atmosphere was very lovely and I loved the view from there

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) is a must visit if you want to feel the worth of every penny that you have been spending

  • Also received a confirmation that my place is reserved and that they would even serve a special birthday platter to us

  • The staff told us that we would have to wait even though we had a reservation and was not helpful or hospitable

  • One of the waitress was extremely rude and told us she cannot promise us a table for the night

  • The food is absolutely delightful with all dishes being made to perfection

  • The service is outstanding and the staff is very hospitable and friendly

  • The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxing

  • The choices and selections of orders combined with their perfect portions options is extraordinarily delighting

  • I had gone to Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) for dinner and must say it was a very good decision

  • The dessert was also of very high quality and the portions served were quite large

  • Cor was very good and the seats were very comfortable

  • The quality of food was also top notch though I didn't like the lobster linguine too much

  • The service though was quick and I had a nice time there

  • The decor of Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) is very luxurious and makes you relaxed and comfortable

  • All three courses were quite delicious

  • The service here is outstanding and one cannot have any complaints

  • The manger was extremely pleasant and sweet

  • A restaurant that is owned by Angela Hartnett was something that I always wanted to go to but I certainly kept my expectations pretty high from Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) that were stubbed at the culmination

  • Ambiance turned out to be pretty good but we were certainly not satisfied

  • The restaurant was not exceptionally amazing

  • It turned out to be just another restaurant with good food and service

  • The ambiance and atmosphere of Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) is absolutely blissful and very pleasant

  • It also offers great value for money and is very reasonably priced for a three course meal offering

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) is run by the protegee of a very well known chef

  • I am not sure if it is one of those places you can frequent regularly

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) in my opinion is really appropriate for both special occasions and business meetups

  • The restaurant is generally jam packed but the ambiance is not noisy

  • The service is incredible too

  • Murano by Angela Hartnett (Mayfair) offers delicious food along with wonderful ambience but the factor which let us down was the service

  • We weren't informed beforehand about the unavailability of some dishes that were listed on the menu and got to know when we had ordered

  • The prices are typically that of any high end restaurant

  • Even though the service is of a really bad standard and thus

  • Murano began life as part of another Gordon Ramsay restaurant with his protegé

  • Subsequently with the economic down turn and Gordon Ramsay Holding suffering from financial strain

  • A fantastic experience with every box checked in style food

  • Murano is our go to place for Italian food as it is my wife&rsquo

  • As Angela Hartnett also draws from her French training with Ramsay to include techniques and dishes which are more likely to see in a French restaurant

  • I have noted that the cooking is heading back towards its Italian roots with less French inspired elements on the menu

  • Being a vegetarian they said they will prepare a few special dishes but the food was close to inedible
