Monkey Temple (Shepherd's Bush)

• This restaurant is great for takeaway
• I'd recommend to anyone who is looking for filling tasty food for a really reasonable price
• In the daytime is a café
• Known as the monkey temple due to a large number of monkeys that reside in part of the temple and are regarded as holy

• Though the tomato based sauce with the dumplings was rather bland (11/20)
• The prawns cooked properly but the sauce of fenugreek leaves and onions with them needing greater intensity of spices (10/20)
• Prawn biryani had reasonably good rice and prawns that were properly cooked though rather lacking in flavour (11/20)
• Was a touch dry but its sauce was had a pleasant spicy kick (11/20)
• The Monkey Temple is a notch better from many local Indian restaurants
• So it is the kind of place that you would happily go to if it was at the end of your road
• Seekh keema kabab along with boiled rice and green salad as a side order
• It was the first time we were trying Indian food so the staff helped us deciding the order
• Most of all the prices were so affordable and they say you can bring your wine if you want to
• Not to forget that the staff was really sweet and helpful
• I went to Monkey Temple (Shepherd's Bush) with my mom and dad as they like Indian food which reminds them of their homeland
• We went here and welcomed nicely and our order was taken immediately

• Busy and the staff are attentive and cheerful

• As soon as we arrived the staff were friendly and attentive
• All throughout our visit the staff were attentive but not hovering
• The decor looks good too and the staff are really friendly
• Just the right amount of menu options to choose from and the if you are unsure have a chat with the waiting staff as they&rsquo
