  • The only decent food was the hash browns and beans and of course the toast which I could've quite comfortably had at home

  • The breakfast was not up to my standards

  • Probably the best breakfast fry ups in the whole of east london

  • Always packed no matter what time or day we have been which speaks volumes for the quality of food and value for money especially in an area with so much competition

  • The staff is friendly and the place is a good alternative to many fast foods

  • I only suggest going when you are super hungry and looking for something quite oily and unhealthy

  • Being a Halal cafe with a variety of desirable foods has made it a hit

  • I would sit in and eat but there isn't a sense of privacy as all the customers are crammed into a small space

  • Last time their food was just sort of thrown in a box all together

  • Just wish the place was slightly bigger and perhaps more customer friendly

  • Could be better if the sausage was fresh and not pre packed frozen ones

  • There is a long queue at the entrance and the food is not even worth the wait

  • There are many better substitutes available with superior quality of food and cheaper prices

  • I happened to visit Meds (Mile End) on a fine sunny morning and the place was absolutely packed

  • Was a little overpriced and the mug in which the tea was served was dirty

  • Most of the items on the dish were not quite delicious

  • The portion size is incredibly HUGE

  • The interiors at Meds (Mile End) is not that spacious and the seating arrangement not comfortable at any rate

  • The menu too is very limited and the rices charged for the same too inflated

  • Meds (Mile End) serves excellent breakfast and also the portion size is really huge that it really fills you that you do not want to have an early lunch post that

  • Meds (Mile End) is always busy with people and it is also very reasonable on your pocket

  • The main attraction of this restaurant is that it serves halal English breakfast

  • The breakfast is reasonably priced and the portions are also quite good

  • The atmosphere is extremely uncomfortable and blaring noises because of crowd makes it displeasing

  • The place offers breakfast much past noon which is also great as sometimes I get late and Meds (Mile End) serves a back up plan

  • The only problem at the restaurant being its washroom which is dirty and not good

  • Went here today for brunch with a few friends

  • The food was great but the downside is that the place is a little crowded

  • Meds was not a place that I was usually go to but was told that it is obligatory to try if you live in the east end

  • Meds is simply a place for Breakfast or Lunch with a myriad of different British condiments and sides

  • The Menu is a standard British feast with different pastas on the lunch menu

  • The staff were nice and the setting was very stuffed in

  • This is quite a famous and popular small cafe which serves a decent lunch menu but is mainly known for its all day breakfasts

  • They have 3 4 breakfasts which go up in size with extra items

  • Everything was cooked very well and tasty and enjoyed it fully

  • Only negative is that the staff can be confusing at times especially when it's busy as they may take your order and your left wondering if they actually passed it onto the kitchen because

  • On entry it was packed (always a good sign) so we had to sit at two tables which was fine

  • We were impressed with the sheer amount of food on the plate

  • I used to think Meds (Mile End) is over rated for the what is does

  • The one that tops all on the menu is the big breakfast for about £

  • To find out there is a halal equivalent to the English breakfast was so exciting

  • You're greeted with a warm welcome

  • The service is equally as great

  • The breakfast is served hot

  • The portion size is perfect and prices are great

  • I would recommend going after 2pm as it is less busy and you don't ha e to wait around for a table

  • Be sure to take cash with you as they do not accept cards

  • It was packed with a lot of students from the area

  • It was up there with the most unforgettable and poorest things I ate in 2015

  • Everything on the plate I had was sub standard

  • Beans tasted like they were from some 10p can and the sausages were poor

  • I called them out on it and they denied it when I saw it with my own eyes

  • The way they serve the food is disgusting

  • I would be able to make the food myself with higher standards

  • Even my toilet is cleaner than the place

  • I ordered my food where the workers were extremely helpful

  • The only minor negative is the time to get a seat

  • The place itself is always crowded though as its very small

  • So the food is good but if you do order just don't expect your food to be ready

  • S definitely the best in the area it&rsquo
