McKirdy's (West End)

• The food that came out was a behemoth sized portion
• With the only thing I was passing up was the black pudding which my dad ate
• With the staff happy to help with any requests or indeed to give you additional information
• Overall it is a fine place to eat
• The layout in McKirdy's is good because it can hold a lot of people but there are a few sections
• The service was friendly and the food was delivered at just the right speed
• Both starters were delicious and I can definitely see why it's an award winning haggis tower
• The steaks were cooked excellently (we both opted for chargrilled
• I would pick every time) and the garlic spinach was an added bonus
• Like everything else it was mega tasty
• Being a steak restaurant it's never going to be cheap but you are paying for quality
• My only advice is make sure you are hungry before going to McKirdy's
• A steak restaurant I was bitterly disappointed
• Went with work and were swung by the byob
• I asked for it rare and it was medium to well
• On arrival the restaurant was busy but quickly shown to our reserved table
• So straight to food the starters were really tasty
• The sausages were very tasty gluten free too
• Well one if us asked for his blue and it was rare but so tasty and really nice friendly service
