Maharaja Of India (Covent Garden)

• I'd ordered the most basic dishes from the menu with which nobody could go wrong but I was proved wrong paneer tikka and chana masala
• Chana masala had hard chana with white sweet onions that separate out from chana
• I think 1 rating is more I would have give 1
• The food was extremly expensive and you even had to pay extra for rice and even the rice was so little that we went out of the restaurant hungry but with much less money
• The food did not even taste well and the Dal was rather a soup
• The waiter was outrageous
• He put the bill on our table BEFORE we were even finished and he came back after one minute to see if we had already paid
• I have no idea why i was here with Lotus right next to it
• A girl suggested that it was a really good and value for money Indian restaurant which i later found out was a prank
• None of these were near to their actual taste
• Very poor service and the waiters are not at all friendly
• Masala chana and Daal makhni were really good
• No cards accepted which is shocking for a restaurant in central London
• The second one who served us at the end somehow managed well and was good in behaviour
• Looks like they are running business only with first timer visitors who don't see Zomato reviews
• Pathetic restaurant with crappy service
• The waitress are extremely high headed with lack of courtesy and mannerism
• The food served on our plate was stale and smelling pungent
• Rated 1 because it was the lowest
• Our server Ali was very rude and ill mannered
• Worst restaurant if you want respect dont go to this restaurant they are the worst people no manners
• Had been there with a lot of expectations of eating good Indian food but was extremely disheartened with their attitude
• With absolutely no other guests in the restaurant they were non welcoming and rude in their behaviour
• It was simply delicious the saag aloo especially was some of the best I have ever had
• If you want good honest food with good service and are in the area then I highly recommend Maharaja Of India (Covent Garden)
