Ma Po (Surrey Quays)

• The restaurant food was low quality and not fresh at all
• I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about
• In fact I would go as far as saying Ma Po (Surrey Quays) is something of a hidden gem
• The service is polite and speedy and the food is great
• Because of the dodgy reviews on here I thought it would be best to stick to traditional Sichaun classics and I certainly wasn't disappointed
• Ants climbing a tree and Sichuan style pork belly with chilis and green peppers
• The food felt authentic (if a little greasy as to be expected with this style of Chinese food) and the ambiance of the place was fine
• I cant help but think the other reviews were expecting something different or just normal Chinese takeway food
• I have been to that restaurant on Sunday the 17th of July with my boyfriend
• It was a hot sunny day and we were looking forward our meal
• She then came back 2 minutes later with a coke and a boiling hot cup of tea
• We tried to explain I ordered this because I thought it was iced because of the way it is written on their menu
• I admit I did not check with the waitress before I ordered if the tea was hot or cold because for me there was no need to
• At the end of the day it is only a cup of tea (Boiled tap water with a tea bag in it)
