Kervan Sofrasi (Edmonton)

• Unapologetic and complete lies i wouldn't go there if your looking for a nice peaceful meal with friends or family
• All the Turkish restaurants have the same supplier so the food is the same wherever you go in the same area
• My teenage son had a yogurt drink on him he was sipping before entering the restaurant on a summer day
• We walk to the restaurant on weekends in a busy high street with many shops
• Today he entered with his yogurt which was nearly empty bottle
• We had the bill showing yogurt added to it and the site manager insisted that this is the policy of the restaurant that they would charge even if they did not supply it
• Always have an awesome time here with my friends
• It was my First experience and it was amazing i ordered their grill platter was amazing taste its enough for 2 people i love it
• In the mean time we were served what could be described as starters
• Another caucasion or mediterranean couple who had also arrived AFTER us and sat behind our table were also served their Kervan Special before us
• Besides drinks in cans as is sold there when you order water for the table
• I would try the other Hertford Road franchise to see if the 'special treatment' we got today is 'cultural' or 'instituitionalised"
• This is one of the best place in London I have been
• The service is disgusting
• The tables are so badly cramped
• The people are unfriendly
• After waiting to be seated we were sat down at a table for two
• Our table was so close to all the rest it felt like we were one big table
• The whole atmosphere of the place was horrid and instantly put me in a bad mood
• Then a plate with what looked like a bit of sour cream slap dashed on to it
• Most of the times we order the special platter with mixed kebabs of all types
• The food here is really nice
• The restaurant is a bit cramped so when its busy it can feel uncomfortable
• Chicken wings and kofte are really nice
• The seating area was complicated as you have to
• The lamb doner was like steak
• We were just standing there like uhhh are we getting seated or nah
• Iv been here a few times now with family and friends
• The waiter came over with salad and he clearly had not used deodorant
• Whilst I appreciate it was hot and busy he did smell very bad
• They didn't even tell me and substituted it with lamb doner
• When it arrived at my table I asked where is the lamb shish and chicken doner as stated in the menu
• When I asked where the glasses were I was told they were not washed and it was to busy to wash them as such I should drink from the cans
• Ok restaurant if you are on a budget but Steer clear if you have some class
• The theme here is family style Turkish but the effect is a major meat fest
• The meat is super juicy and cooked well with the dips and seasonings making every bite so flavourful
• It makes for a great value meal out with plenty to choose from
