K Place Korean BBQ (City of London)

• I had never tried Korean barbecue before so I was excited to give K Place Korean BBQ (City of London) a go
• It's on the tastecard which is how I found it so you can get some money off your bill and if you select the 10 course set menu you really get enough food to be stuffed by the end
• Before you get to that there is an array of delicious starters and sides that are put in your table
• You meats of choice are brought out and the barbecue is turned heated up
• You can then start cooking your steaks using the special wooden cutlery and cut them up with a pair or scissors
• We decided to go with the set menu that offers 3 types of meat per person but if you really want to push your limits or have not eater for days there's an unlimited meat option too
• I recommend going there with a group as that would be great fun and you can order a greater variety of foods
• Travelling with my spouse and one child
• So we are very familiar with korean food as we eat it all the time
• At first we were excited to go to a korean restaurant in London and we walked about 40 minutes after a couple trips on the tube
• Because this is not korea and therefore the ingredients are probably limited
• As normally you are supposed to grill it yourself in the middle of the table
• The portion was enough to eat in one bite and the rest of the dish was only onions
• Mind you there was no pieces of tofu to begin with
• The soup definitely seemed like we were eating leftovers
