Jeremiah's Taproom (Broughton)

• I went there with family and waited 30 minutes at the bar for a drink
• The manager (Jayne) was extremely rude and when she asked me what I wanted as soon as I replied with "
• She dismissed my order with the fact that she was too busy and walked away
• Quickly scanning over the menu it seemed there was a lot of tasty bits and pieces such as burgers
• We also noticed that they offer a Sunday roast with all the trimmings for £
• I have a problems with pubs as I don't drink beer and usual old pubs has bad wine
• Visited for the first time in a while and it was great to visit
• I came here with Food Club on Friday
• We got a big table in the back which was pretty convenient but I think it could get quite loud if you're up front by the bar
• The waiter was knowledgable and recommended well
• This beer was great and tasted like something between pilsner and lager which is probably my favourite combination
• I had halloumi sticks for a starter which were good but nothing special
• There is only as much halloumi as one person can eat at once and this was a little bit too much
• Their coffee was good I'd get it again and one cannot go wrong with Highland Park
• The guys had burgers which supposedly weren't anything special and they had a brownie with ice cream for a dessert which wasn't too good either
• Good Pub Grub was the call this month as we ventured to the Taproom for some burgers and beers
• The Halloumi was nicely done but maybe lacking an extra spark
• Unfortunately it was the same outcome
• I was pleased and thankful for getting the Wolfpack burger which had stated on the menu it was only for a Sunday
• The Mexican Burger was loaded with chilli
• Jalapeno and sour cream but there was very little heat to be enjoyed
• The Ranch burger was simple and tasty but nothing to scream about
• Each burger came with fries and we also ordered some onion rings and garlic bread to keep us growing manboys going
• We washed everything down with yet more beer and ordered dessert
• Very doughy on the inside and the there was no hint of heat within the chocolate sauce
• We finished the evening with more beers and our old friends Tequila and Sambucca turned up&hellip
• Next time Food Club are heading into Leith on 23rd October for the Spanish experience with TAPA
