  • The service is attentive and the interior is just what you&rsquo

  • The Hinds Head is a 1 Michelin star picturesque gastropub set in the heart of the Village of Bray near Maidenhead

  • The Fat Duck is only a hundred yards away

  • On our return to the car we noted that every table was occupied so we stopped ourselves looking foolish

  • The decor of the pub retains its traditional interior and has a 'ye olde' feel with a mixture of timbers and whitewash walls

  • We couldn't look past the famous scotch egg made with soft boiled quail egg wrapped in sausage meat and fried in panko breadcrumbs

  • Door to his famous fat duck restaurant in Maidenhead (they were closed unfortunately)

  • He later went on to explain that it was usually visiting chefs who would try a wide variety of dishes on their quest to gain inspiration

  • T they when the food here is cooked to such a consistently high level

  • Had dinner with a group of friends and was impressed with the quality of the food and range of drinks

  • Was a little disappointed with the service

  • Nestled away amongst the sleepy cottages of the quaint old village lies some of the UK's best restaurants including the three Michelin starred The Waterside Inn and Heston infamous Fat Duck

  • The place exudes an old English charm married with the sophistication of a one Michelin star restaurant

  • Our epicurean indulgence started off with a tasting of the little snacks &ndash

  • All three were a treat to the palate but devils on the horseback was the most pleasurable

  • The sweetness and fleshy texture of the prune was complemented well by the salty taste and meaty texture of the porchetta

  • I had the scallops with salad while my friend ordered the pea and ham soup

  • The scallops were clearly the star in the plate

  • Anticipation was building up with each every bite

  • We both went for the ribeye steak with the bone marrow sauce

  • The sheer look of the steak alone was very inviting

  • Taking a slice was like cutting through butter

  • It was lightly salty with a hint of other spices

  • The steak was filling but there is always room for desserts

  • We ordered quaking pudding and banana caramel and milk chocolate cake with lime ice cream

  • Ve never had quaking pudding before and it was different from how I imagined it

  • It was not too sweet and it was served warm

  • The chocolate cake was delightful

  • It was smooth with a good consistency

  • Banana and caramel were well balanced

  • The lime ice cream was perfect complement

  • I enjoyed the meal in this restaurant but I confess I was expecting more for a Michelin Star Restaurant

  • The desert was to die for simply amazing
