• The Hansom proves to be a perfectly charming locale for a coffee or tea over cakes with a business colleague or friend

• The bread was a little thick however this was fine as there was a lot of filling
• The gluten free scones were wonderful and there was ample jam and clotted cream so no evil glares over the afternoon tea cake stand
• The pastries were wonderful as well
• We tried the cloudy bay afternoon tea which isn't available any more however there is nothing wrong with ordering a glass of cloudy bay wine with afternoon tea
• So of course I could not decline that's what friends are for after all
