The Greek Larder (Holloway)

• Overall the food at The Greek Larder is tasty but the price and the service let it down
• S the perfect place to catch up over a coffee with friends but I wouldn&rsquo
• Lunchtimes are pretty busy and our waitress
• T booked so were happy to sit inside
• We ordered the seafood (clams) octopus with fava beans which was delicious
• Scallops and feta (which was disappointing
• The waiting staff were lovely and attentive
• Fairly big restaurant/deli with a varied menu
• I had the souvlaki (lamb sausage wrap which was delicious and excellently spiced) and the aubergine salad which was refreshing
• The Greek Larder is not only a wonderful restaurant
• A greek colleague recommended this and my personal favourite is the filo fish pie
• This restaurant is close to my current workplace
• Founder of Odysea and partner at the Greek Larder is a slightly overwhelming experience
• Especially when the whole affair is punctuated by the arrival of dishes of Greek food
• Over something of a lunchtime feast we learnt that while Panos himself was born in Athens
• Panos talking about his mother who was clearly a significant influence
• Peter Morrell samples the delicious food and wine at this authentic restaurant and meets the owner Theodore Kyriakou who is also organising the upcoming London Greek Wine Festival
• Before sampling the food and wine at The Greek Larder I had a chat with owner Theodore who is a well known character on the London food scene
• Returning to London for its third consecutive year is the London Greek Wine Festival
