  • The venue itself is big and impressive

  • The decor is also very interesting and it is an enjoyable place to be

  • Its slightly on the pricey side but the experience is definitely something to be had at least once

  • Parking in the area is also very problematic

  • The whole get up is very attractive and eye catching

  • The decor is certainly over the top with larger than life paintings

  • The food quality is very good but it doesn't come cheap

  • The fish on the main course was probably the best thing we ordered on the table but you are looking at forking out £

  • I seen it toptable and there was 50% off so decided to try it out

  • The service was just great

  • Lime wasabi salmon with creme fraiche

  • Tempura black cod with soba noodles

  • Everything was a perfect palette

  • The prawn spring rolls is how prawn spring rolls SHOULD look and taste

  • The sticky rice was a little over cooked and the Fiji water was over priced

  • This 520 seat space is representative of a high topped steel buffet tent at an army camp than a cosy restaurant you&rsquo

  • Instead it emphasis the fact that they are only one person in a restaurant that has to cater for over 500 people &ndash

  • Not only is the management of space an instant turn off but so is what they have put in it

  • The table are so big and bulky that there is no leg room or space to move and get up from the table

  • The only window looks out towards a train track with constant freight trains trudging past

  • Pomegranate Rice Paper Rolls and Green Papaya and Mango Salad with Chilli and Lime dressing were both missing any kind of chilli and were unbearably sweet

  • My main course was a Thai Red Curry with Organic Parsnip

  • The half price deal which seems to be available all the time is definitely more appealing the £

  • The amount of food provided is good but the quality definitely isn&rsquo

  • This may be because the kitchen is cooking these dishes is large vats en masse for the 500 diners they can hold in the restaurant in one sitting

  • My only hope now is that the a la carte menu is 500 times better than the set menu

  • They are just made for the day to have dim sum with either family or friends

  • Every inch was luxuriously detailed with the WOW factor

  • Drinking the ice cold beverage was the perfect way to help cool off from the summers heat

  • A big maze with many rooms

  • The drinks were good and there are plenty of spaces to be seared

  • I visited this restaurant earlier this year with my boyfriend Michael

  • The occasion was rather exciting as I was meeting his close friends that I had never met before and a hopeful business partner

  • We had been informed about the reservations and had never heard of Gilgamesh before and so when we arrived we were definitely in for a surprise

  • As soon as we stepped foot onto the escalators and into the reception we were in awe of the location

  • Once we had sat and taken our surroundings in we were greeted by Michael's friends

  • The place was young and vibrant with incredible decor and furnishings and a mouthwatering smell of the oriental food

  • The friend of Michael's who had made the reservation was certainly an entertainer

  • Its the drinks that are expensive)

  • Fast paced and the setting was more than you could ever have imagined

  • I genuinely feel that this restaurant is worth the experience

  • I also feel that when busy (which is most of the time) you could be rushed out of the restaurant ready for the next booking due to high demand

  • This restaurant is great to eat out late

  • Inside the decor is decadent with an eastern flavour throughout

  • The cocktails are really good here

  • I opted for my usual whisky sour and iit was light with a crisp citrus edge to it

  • The sushi was delicious with the flavours well balanced and the rice itself was cooked perfectly

  • The prawns were meaty and cooked just right

  • We finished with the peking duck

  • As a main I had the Thai Green Chicken Curry not the most creative choice but I was glad as it's one of my favourites to date

  • I am still impressed how it is always incredibly busy

  • The entrance is slightly dingy

  • You are exposed to a vibrant atmosphere with a great crowd

  • I would recommend Gilgamesh as it is combines great atmosphere

  • The restaurant is absolutely stunning

  • Again however the prices are expensive for what you get

  • Lukily the food is also very good however it's also very dear

  • My favourite dish is the miso black cod

  • The slow reveal of the venue as you take the escalator is brilliant and is just incredible to think that it exists above the street food stalls just outside

  • The duck and watermelon salad is a particular high point

  • You can feel the cozy and friendly atmosphere Gilgamesh (Camden Town) offer you with its kind and helpful services and its marvelous food

  • The Restaurant is located in the Camden town area with closest tubes stations Kentish Town and Camden Town

  • The service is unbelievably quick and the food is always delicious

  • The sweet potato curry was extremely pleasing in taste

  • The food was also great and the cocktails were simply outstanding

  • Gilgamesh (Camden Town) was an amazing experience for me

  • The set up is outstanding and I have never visited such a place in London ever

  • The surroundings are lovely and the atmosphere is joyful

  • I highly recommend the fish and chips with the flavoursome sauces

  • The starters were tasty and will definitely keep me coming back for more

  • Gilgamesh (Camden Town) is a must visit

  • The staff was also pretty good and helped us out with our tables

  • The quality of the food was good but the portions should be little more big

  • The restaurant was quite large though the setting was quite strange

  • I must also say that they were quite accommodating

  • The ribs offered here were seemed like they had not been treated very well

  • The tempura prawns came sprinkled with a variety of additions

  • All dishes I had ordered were quite delectable and I would definitely want to have them again

  • The decor of Gilgamesh (Camden Town) was stunning and eye catching

  • I must say all of them were amazingly cooked and tasted delicious

  • My personal favorites were the duck spring rolls

  • Gilgamesh (Camden Town) serves a variety of cuisines with the main focus on Chinese and Thai dishes

  • The atmosphere pretty relaxed all the time and you can try their tikki if you are planning to visit sometime

  • Probably the place is only meant for dinners and we should have chosen some place else to spend our evening

  • The food is amazing with delicious sushi and Thai green curry

  • The prices are also reasonable

  • The decor too is pretty good

  • The service on our visit was very efficient

  • For me the regular charges are a little fancy

  • I had an overly expensive glass of red wine and the cocktails in my opinion were made of cheap fruit juices available

  • I would recommend Gilgamesh (Camden Town) if someone is adventurous with their taste buds and is okay with a fairly complicated menu

  • The over all decor of the place is overwhelming with excitement

  • I decided to visit Gilgamesh (Camden Town) and must say it was a very good choice

  • The ambience was quite good and the staff was polite

  • Everything we ordered was delectable and cooked to perfection

  • The atmosphere and ambiance of Gilgamesh (Camden Town) is also nice and very pleasant

  • The service is great with the staff being extremely friendly and hospitable

  • The ambiance of Gilgamesh (Camden Town) is beautiful and has a contemporary styling

  • Among the things we loved having there were Lamb chops and Hoba Miso chilean Seabass

  • To begin with the service is horrible and non existent at the restaurant/bar

  • The sorbet was bitter but the other dishes were good

  • There was a foul smell around the bar table and the barman was intentionally being ignorant

  • This is a good place if one is planning to host a party for about 100 300 people

  • The place is vast and the entire expanse is luxurious in its vibe

  • The atmosphere was electrifying and the decor was amazing

  • S Gilgamesh (Camden Town) down are it's staff and the service provided by it

  • The staff didn't explain the dishes properly and the wine was left on the table unopened

  • Especially the beef which is just awesome and is a hot favourite among the customers

  • The ambience is calm and relaxing

  • We went for post dinner drinks in the lounge and loved the cocktails and now I have fallen in love with Gilgamesh (Camden Town)

  • The food was excellent and there are a range of options available on the menu which are quite tempting

  • The service was pretty quick and efficient and the staff was quite friendly as well

  • The ambience was quite decent and the surroundings were a bit unique and pretty

  • Especially wasabi and salad which were of very poor quality

  • The ambience was fine but not over the top

  • The real reason that put me off were the prices of the dishes

  • The food was excellent and was cooked to perfection with amazing flavor to it

  • The drinks were also awesome

  • The service was quite efficient

  • After dinner we opted for going into the club which was as great as the restaurant

  • I was quite impressed with the ambience which is absolutely amazing because of the beautiful surroundings and wonderful interiors

  • The food was fantastic with it's wonderful flavours and was cooked perfectly but was over priced as compared to what it was worth

  • The service was lukewarm which was quite disappointing and the staff is also a bit indifferent and would have preferred them to be a little more friendly

  • Eventually I had the duck with a side of jasmine rice

  • Being a large group (there were 15 of us) one could expect the waiters to rush in getting orders since it would take a long time to sort everyone out but this was not the case

  • I know) they thought on their feet and brought out a chocolate fondant with her name piped on the plate and a lovely birthday message

  • S Gilgamesh is choc a bloc with OTT interiors fit for a Babylonian king

  • This is the place you go with a honey when you want to dine on Pan Asian food but want a little more luxe than your local and a strong dose of fun

  • The starters are more like props for the opening round of cocktails but the main courses are well beyond your average Pan Asian joint &ndash

  • One of the best Beef Penangs I&rsquo

  • Post 9pm fun with someone you&rsquo

  • The martinis here are gargantuan so make sure you order bites alongside them or you&rsquo

  • Booze and fun potential is crazy high

  • I wish I had more photos of Gilgamesh (Camden Town) because the decor is awesome unfortunately I came here before I started working at Zomato so I've only got this one picture of the lady on the wall

  • Gilgamesh (Camden Town) is perfect for drinks with friends and special occasions such as birthdays

  • Food is perfect for sharing and staff are very accommodating

  • Extraordinary decor with a menu to match

  • The critically acclaimed halal pan asian resturant in Camden's stable market is worth a visit for its stunning food and equally stunning venue

  • The show stopper dish was the son in lawn eggs

  • Gooey egg on a bed of crispy salad dressed with chilli jam

  • Also featured on the picture is duck spring rolls

  • The service here was brilliant too

  • We ordered some chicken wings (which were amazing) and prawn &

  • As impressive as it all is here the place is in need of an update

  • We thought it was about time we crossed off

  • Sitting below the retractable roof made it seem like we were lunching somewhere exotic

  • You can start with a dirty martini at the bar and then enjoy one of a kind Asian dinner

  • From sushi (one of the best toro tuna sashimi ever) to Thai yellow curry or Wagyu beef

  • The decor of the restaurant is different and it has high ceilings generating an open atmosphere

  • We were seated in a large booth with red curtains draped behind us

  • The service was exceptional

  • The food itself was beautifully presented but a little bland

  • An average restaurant with beautiful interior

  • Would recommend to go there when it's completely dark outside as it looks even better with all the interior lighting

  • I had extremely high expectations and was super satisfied with the starters

  • The atmosphere is amazing and I would go there again to have a nice time but not specifically for food

  • The interior and decor are very well designed

  • We didn't have a reservation and was sat down straight away

  • My friend started off with the calamari and that was cooked beautifully

  • The mains I had the maylasian style seafood jungle curry with jasmine rice as a side &

  • It was amazing it was full of flavour &

  • Mushroom vegetables that's was tasty also

  • The drinks were lovely also I got the mubaba mock tail and the assyria cocktail

  • I had heard a lot about Gilgamesh so was looking forward to it

  • I thought it was pretty cool that you enter via escalator and the walls are beautifully carved

  • We had to wait for cutlery to eat the starters but when it came they were worth the wait

  • The flavours were beautiful and everything tasted fresh

  • The fishcakes were delicious too

  • I started with the Malaysian jungle seafood curry which was really nice

  • Bit boring to be honest so the mains were a let down

  • I suggested we go elsewhere as we were fed up and asked for the bill

  • Eventually they brought it explaining that my friend had ordered something they were trying to arrange

  • She said it was venue info then said loudly into her mouthpiece "

  • 15 minutes later she reappeared with a happy bday dessert platter my friend had ordered

  • Plonked it in front of me and walked off lol it was the saddest happy birthday I had encountered and definitely dont recommend Gilgamesh for your birthday

  • The pannacotta was nice though lol

  • The service was poor in the extreme and very slow

  • When I phoned to convey certain issues I had the staff were rude and flippant which prompted me to write this review

  • The restaurant is a canvas for cultural art

  • Colours and carvings and is known by pretty much every person I speak too

  • Comfy leather clad booths dominate the window area with views over the Stables Market

  • While us voucher bearing clients get to sit centre stage on dark oak tables with a slightly suspicious motif (if you squint sideways and cover certain parts

  • Gilgamesh's menu is quite extensive

  • Its pan Asian theme is carefully selected for the set menu

  • We started with cocktails which were fruity and icy

  • Though on checking the drinks menu there were many classics and much champagne as well as an extensive wine list

  • To start I ordered the crispy chicken wings with a kimchi glaze and crispy garlic

  • I couldn't resist using my fingers and gnawing on the bones (luckily they had anticipated this and there was a finger bowl at the ready)

  • Himself ordered crispy baby squid with a teensy amount of sweet soy sauce

  • The tempura batter was crispy and the squid

  • A choice of four seafood jungle curry and baby spatchcock chicken with miso dressing won out

  • The jungle curry was like a thick Thai green curry

  • The chicken with miso tasted a little bland and unexciting

  • Another table had a chocolate brownie always a good choice but our cheesecake with lime sorbet and yuzu tarts were

  • The decor and location (and potential celeb clientele) is the real draw

  • So go along and dine in a Babylon esqe palace with whatever vouchers you can find

  • Once with a Groupon voucher which was great value

  • This meal is best taken when you're so down and the hunger rate is very high

  • Me this is the best club in London

  • Interior decors is very Persian stylish plus great music

  • Had my bday party here with like 30 others

  • Being a Japanese folflover I'm so glad that I got to try Gilgamesh (Camden Town) which was full of amazing Japanese cuisine and totally drooling over it

  • The decor and food is breathtaking

  • We had exotic dancers with snakes come to our table which I thought was amazing

  • You felt the staff were taking time to make sure you were happy

  • The decor of restaurants is amazing and best dishes is sushi

  • Overall it was a nice experience
