The George (Ruislip)

• You always know what you are getting in The George
• The George (Ruislip) is perfect for families who want a decent meal out
• Harvester comes with an infamous waiting time of 30 50 minutes at peak times and if you are looking for a fancy meal with exceptional taste
• I have previously been to this restaurant and then it was really in a shabby state
• That's all in the past now as it's newly renovated and is drastically improved
• Thankfully they kept hold of the staff as that was the really good thing previously and now the interior is better laid out
• All the favourites are still there
• They also have an interesting flavour mixer with the ice cream too
• The George (Ruislip) is surely for me because I don't like spending too much on my meals and at this price the quality of food that they provide is pretty fascinating
• I went in the evening and the restaurant was quite busy
• Overall a very bad experience even when doused with a whisky sauce that came with it
• The main problem was with the bill when I got to know that the discount doesn't get applied on the meal deal
• I left with the restaurant with a very bad experience
• We had to wait for forty minutes to be seated but it was fair enough as it was busy
• The boiled potatoes were dark brown
• The waitress did offer to change them but I refused and just stuck with the salad bar
• My partner's chicken was under cooked and we sent it back
• The waitress did offer us to only pay twenty five per cent of the bill which we accepted as it was fair enough considering we sent the chicken back
• The tables were not properly cleaned and the restrooms were untidy
• This traditional fine dine restaurant is a must try for everybody
• Even the staff is efficient and friendly
• The presentation and taste of the food is usually very good and the staff is friendly
• Even though the food was of decent standards
• The service was very poor and slow
• The decor of the place was soothing and nice
• The atmosphere is comfortable and enticing
• The portion size is great and we got the leftover dish packed
• The service is pleasing and attentive without being intrusive
• The winner among all the dishes for me were the ribs as they were lip smacking and really delicious
• The salad bar offered us with fresh options to choose from
• Though it was a Sunday afternoon and people were constantly flocking to the place
• We thought of giving The George (Ruislip) a try as it is just down the road
• The interiors are pretty good but once we were seated
• I noticed that the table next to us was covered with food
• The menu given to us was ripe and dirty while the cutlery was also tarnished
• I enjoyed my pork but streak was not good as these people had run out of mushrooms
• We had a couple of small cokes for drinks for which we were charged nearly 5 pounds
• I was highly disappointed with The George (Ruislip) and do not plan to come back here
• We visited The George (Ruislip) on Monday and found that The George (Ruislip) was pretty busy on a Monday as well
• We got to know that there was some fault in the drinks machine due to which it had stopped working
• Since there was no unlimited fill for the soft drinks
• The manager agreed to refund the costs but apparently when the bill came It was more of a mission to get the staff's attention to the bill as we were overcharged
• I started with beaded mushrooms with a cheese sauce they were lovely
• Mains I got a full rack of ribs with fries that was lovely also nicely flamed grilled taest
• The sever tara was very friendly and polite
