The salad (slaw) was crunchy and worked so well with the meat and cheese combo
Everything was hugged by fresh flatbread
I have explored brixton village time and time again and one of my favourites is French & Grace (Brixton)
A cosy (about 25 seater) restaurant serving homely fresh food with middle easterny flavours
In the picture is their ham hock and butternut squash hash which was beautiful
Buttery soft chunks of squash with juicy pieces of ham
Not quite as amazing or as many options as federation but a good substitute if you are short on time
There is an ever changing specials board and tasty sides including more spicy merguez served with a harissa paste based dip
The most memorable of which was the circle line challenge in London (a different drink in a different pub at each stop on the circle line)
