It might come as a bit of a surprise to those who know me well (and so know all about my fascination with hybrid desserts)
-
While there are imitations aplenty to be found across London
-
My last visit to New York was unfortunately timed right before the opening of his first bakery
-
It stands out with its yellow cover as well as the unmissable queue outside the shop
-
S specifically for its cookie shots and cronuts while the other is for any other items on the menu
-
Last month I randomly found out it was coming to London
-
Didn't get a chance to try the cronut but the DKA was nice and the lemon cheesecake was to die
-
I believe the reason for this rushed atmosphere is the fact that customers have to find tables for themselves
-
Had to spend an average of 15 minutes in line and that's only because we were lucky (As we were leaving the place
-
While the others are enjoying their dessert
-
I am not saying this is the worst experience
-
So all desserts were dressed in pink
-
Mores and I was way too intrigued to let it go
-
After the video I went searching for a Dominique Ansel bakery and was happily surprised to learn there was one near me
-
Therefore I was very looking forward to give them a try in Europe
-
Area where the bakery is located is not very sexy
-
We ordered 4 with some coffee and tried cookie shots with vanilla milk from Fiji
-
All the sweets were as usual amazing
-
On a Saturday morning it is quite packed place
-
So this month's was the chocolate ganache with mandarin jam
-
The description didn't seem too appetizing to me thinking the mandarin jam would be better but I was so mistaken
-
It was a pleasure with every bite
-
Tried their savory with the croque monsieur with fresh bread stuffed with cheese
-
The cronuts were too hard to be bitten &
-
The asian girl at the till was lovely and made us feel welcomed
-
Cookie shot was also fairly good
-
I cannot wait to try out more the only negative I can think of is that the cake wasnt big enough
-
Dominique Ansel Bakery (Belgravia) is mostly for show
-
Came to Dominique Ansel Bakery few months ago to try their famous Frozen S'more but it did not leave me a good impression as I felt it was way too sweet even a sweet tooth like me couldn't handle it
-
Also I though that the matcha latte was just average
-
I was curious with their Cookie Shot &
-
Had been eyeing Dominique Ansel Bakery (Belgravia) for ages and was happy to find it located on a cute street
-
I ordered the frozen smore (delicious with ice cream inside)
-
The cookie shot (chocolate cookie with milk pretty cool) and cronut (flavour was chocolate and mandarin fairly good)
-
A soft goey marshmallow when you bite on the outside and then inside there was an ice cream coated with a thin layer of chocolate brownie/cake
-
The cookie shot was just like you would imagine
-
A edible shot glass with milk inside
-
The marshmallow itself was too sweet for me
-
Dominique Ansel is the creator of the cronut
-
One of the best coffee shops in London what I loved about it is their creativity in there orders such as the marshmallow that was stuffed with ice cream and the chocolate chips cookie cups with milk
-
Ve a thing for cute bakery where one can sit with friends and enjoy a cup of coffee
-
Being in London and visiting this adorable roadside bakery was always in my list and I&rsquo
-
S yummy dessert along with warm hot chocolate coffee was a pleasant delight
-
Master pastry chef Dominique Ansel started his trade in New York with his store being such a hit that it made its way to London a few years back too
-
S styled gorgeously and the area is lovely and relaxed
-
Most importantly the baked goods are incredible
-
One which i had was Blossoming Hot Chocolate
-
Where the quantity is perfect and the marshmallow in flower shaped is put on the hot chocolate
-
As the staff is really friendly
-
Gorgeous space with seating inside and out
-
Dominique Ansell makes wonderful and unique pastries and cakes that are as delicious as they look
-
A great sounding combination which was well executed but I think the delicate flavours of the jasmine were a little lost
-
The ginger was not so detectable in the gelé
-
They also have an area at the back which looks very nice with a vertical
-
Great for a sweet treat if you are in the area
-
Except the person who jumped the queue where it was my turn and a person came opposite side and ordered
-
The bad story was the guy took his order without apologizing to us
-
This bakery is over the top
-
It is a light creamy texture and looks like drops of rain on top with a lady bug hiding under a leaf
-
The flavor is very fresh
-
Like after a rain and the light crunch of the crust reminds you of the sounds at the end of a rain with light drops of rain hitting the ground
-
It was filed with an orange marmalade type filling (filling changes frequently)
-
In all and all the place is over rated
-
We ended up getting much nicer desserts at Peggy Porschen which is about 200m away from Ansel bakery
-
The creamy cheese went well with the crunchy deliciousness of the bread
-
The cookie shot was just okay but I really enjoyed the way they served it
-
From the classic cookie shots to the famous cronuts or other unique creations this is definitely my fave go to dessert place in London
-
Ordered the chocolate chip cookie shot which was a really nice
-
The frozen marshmallow ice cream was a bit small considering the price and far too sickly sweet
-
Presentation and a price point that is not too high or unreasonable
-
From the outside it looks interesting with a massive flower display
-
Plenty of seating and I spotted a separate room that was decorated quite nicely but think it was for their afternoon tea service
-
It was cheesy on top with a gooey white sauce filling stuffed with turkey
-
Not for someone with a small appetite
-
T not order some dessert with really pretty and creative cakes on display
-
Choux buns filled with hazelnut pastry cream and coconut ganache
-
The coffee is by The Gentlemen Baristas
-
I had a Mocha and was a lovely blend
-
It isn't that far away but I don't go to Victoria very often) where the wares are on sale and display
