  • Delhi Wala is a vibrant restaurant situated on King Street

  • The desserts are very good as well

  • Service is slow and portions are smaller (dosa was minimally filled)

  • Created a scene which was really odd behaviour in front of other diners

  • We had seen the manager kick off with other customers previously

  • Delhi Wala (Southall) is true to its name

  • My favourites are the Aloo Paranthas and Cholle Bhature

  • Asking for any specials is always a good idea

  • Spice was what we were all after and Southall was on our way home

  • Southall is located a couple of miles from Heathrow Airport and is home to the largest Asian community in London

  • The neighbourhood is predominantly Sikh and the streets are full of gurdwaras

  • This is a family tradition that is going strong for many years now

  • Home style Punjabi food is their specialty but they also have South Indian and Indian Chinese dishes on the menu

  • There really is no ambience

  • First up for us was Papri Chaat which was wonderfully crisp

  • Chana Bhatura screams Punjabi comfort and is a staple Delhiwala order

  • They do a great job with the tasty chickpea curry which tastes fabulous scooped up with the softest

  • Rajma was up next a delicious kidney bean curry that is a favourite in any Punjabi home

  • It was the first time we ordered this dish here and it was wiped clean with some tandoori roti and an order of paneer (cottage cheese) parantha for the little one

  • The dessert was disappointing

  • The gajar ka halwa (carrot pudding) was overheated

  • Disappointing but I can live with it as the rest of our food was delicious

  • Highly recommend a detour to Delhiwala Southall the next time you are driving past Heathrow with a serious Indian spice craving

  • I visited this restaurant as was on a visit to southall

  • From exterior it looked ok but the inward bound was dirty (still made a deciosion as the smell from food forced me to eat in)

  • It also has a good range of traditional Indian sweets but the food was not as it smelled and with lot of oil

  • The pickles there on the table looked loke they are kept since somedays and were not freshly served daily

  • All i can say is that the service is slack

  • Went for the dinner last along with family &

  • We found food OK but the services were pathetic &

  • Was told it is for providing plate

  • Overall the experience was very poor and I will not recommend this restaurant even to my enemy

  • I went to this Delhi Wala restaurant yesterday with my family Monday 9th Nov 2015

  • The service was absolutely appalling

  • I thought it was supposed to be an indian dish

  • It was plain with nothing in it

  • The mixture was raw inside

  • Been here countless times to eat best prantha's in London

  • They have bunch of Indian spicey food which is worth trying

  • The thing which I think needs to upgrade is fittings and furniture

  • Not only the service is below par and the place seemed kind of low on hygiene

  • Me and wife ended up with a bad case of stomach ache and vomiting

  • Tried this restaurant as read some reviews female waitress very rude with an attitude
