Delhi Grill (Angel)

• Delhi Grill is my favorite Indian dhaba n London
• Your senses will be filled with the tandoori roti that is being cooked at the entrance
• The ambience is little rough and Indian newspapers plastered on the wall just makes me more nostalgic
• The chutneys they serve with pakoras always transport me back home
• Seekh kebab was not roasted properly
• Chicken tikka was quite ordinary
• The Delhi Grill is a café
• Its walls covered with Bollywood movie posters
• Although it had a pleasant marinade the meat itself was not of very high quality
• The main course dishes were a mixed bag
• One dimensional sauce and chicken with distinctly poor texture
• 5.95) was thinner in texture than the best of the breed (such as that for example at Tangawizi
• 5.95) was the best of the dishes at this stage
• So if I am charitable then perhaps this was deliberate (12/20)
• The Delhi Grill is clearly popular
• The chicken karahi in particular was disappointing
• It is a decent enough place if you are in the area
• I admit that I had rather higher expectations of the cooking than what was delivered tonight
• With the naans being some of the best I've found in London so far
• I love it here the food is fresh the staff are friendly and helpful iv been here several times and each time iv experienced high customer service
• I tried several Indian restaurants and this one is the one I like most the food I mean
• It was not an option growing up (there are no Indian restaurants where I grew up)

• Delhi Grill (Angel) has small menu and everything is cooked amazingly well and tasted really good
• Would recommend Lamb chops and Seek Kebab and Dal and Okra was very nice too
• Unfortunately they only serve it in the evening so we were all disappointed but still we thought we will eat our lunch here as we have travelled so far from office to eat food here

• As we had to go back to office my friend just requested for the bill and rudely he tells us with attitude that you don't have to be loud
• Chicken melted in my mouth with the soft texture and fr
• Both seekh kabab was a flavourful blend of spices fused together along with the tangri which created an aroma of spice heaven
• The juxtaposition of mouth watering appetisers were a party for my taste buds
• Paneer melted in my mouth which coupled with the fine barbecue preparation of veg made it a fine dining experience
