  • The whole menu is gluten free (and celery

  • My gluten happy dinner companion was disappointed by the lack of naan until his food arrived and then he couldn't stop shovelling the food into his mouth

  • It seems that South Indian cuisine is a little different to what we think of as 'curry'

  • Starters and mains were delicious and moreish

  • Dakhin's food is really delicious

  • It's not your typical Glasgow Indian restaurant the menu is Southern Indian cuisine

  • The lamb and prawn starters are my two favourites

  • The flame grilled lamb and chicken are cooked perfectly

  • Great along with their coconut rice

  • Not always a massive fan of hot food but with one of their mango lassi's this is the perfect combination

  • It doesn't look much from the outside however inside is the most delicious and fragrant food

  • Light flavours none of this swamped with the same standard sauce stuff

  • Well located on Candleriggs but easy to miss due to its upstairs location is the amazing South Indian restaurant Dakhin

  • Very disappointed with Vada and coconut chutney

  • The staff/service was quite excellent as well

  • When Barney said we were off for a curry I had visions of Chicken Tikka Saag and a Keema Naan

  • (which is just the sort of shocking pretentiousness I have to put up with from him) and insisted we were going somewhere a bit different

  • Both the restaurant and the locality are very quiet

  • This restaurant is in the upper floor and a staircase leads you to this level

  • The entrance is poorly it and very dingy

  • I stayed in Ibis styles and it was a 10 minute walk from there

  • Though the place is not very busy

  • Food there is quite a good variety to choose from

  • Their chutneys are novel and tasty

  • All the items I ordered were tasting good

  • This restaurant was a good escape for more than 1 hour from a terrible hotel stay

  • Curd rice etc as a side was really good

  • Quantity of main bus good but side was a little less

  • They had wide varieties of south indian food tried their dosa and idli and their taste was flavour of south kheer served by them is soo delicious and sweetlicious

  • One must try their if they are searching for south Indian food

  • After finding this restaurant due to small concealed entrance on this bustling busy street we were not disappointed to say the least

  • On entering the restaurant at the top of the staircase we were pleasantly surprised as it opens up into a large atmospheric area that the aromas were circling around our heads

  • The young waiter who attended to us was excellent in many ways and we weren&rsquo

  • T disappointed that the vast array of food that was available to us
